Gone were the days POHUAT's earnings hovering in the single digits. Since 2012 POHUAT's earnings reached double digits. POHUAT's EPS almost quarupled over the last 3 years to a record high of 21.8 sen in FY14. The big jump was powered by the sharp profit turnaround of its Msian operations.The Vietnamese operations saw a sharp and speedy recovery after the anti-Chinese riots with the doubling in the PBT q-o-q in 4Q14. With the strong showing from both the Vietnamese and Msian operations is most encouraging. On the balance sheet, cash surplus also increased- turning net cash since 3QFY14. Expecting DPS increase for CY15. Jokes aside RM2.5-2.6 attainable, based on technical and fundamental analysis.

Furniture & property entirely different segments. Seems like 'diworsifications' as mentioned in Peter Lynch's book "One up on Wall Street".

If you could not bear short term losses, then you would find many reasons to sell. So how could you make big gains.

Those who could not bear short term losses should not be in the stock market. Better for you to invest in mutual funds.

A lot of so called investors know the prices of a stock very well, but not the intrinsic value to a stock. So many are perturb by the noises of the market. Better to invest in mutual funds.

Run! the less weak holders for this counter the better for us. Those who stayed through thick and thin would benefit from the dividends and capital gains.

From the fundamentalist point of view, bonus issues are in themselves totally unimportant.

Another wave of price appreciation for Pohuat in the making. Volume of trading building up. Money is made through sitting tight and ride with the uptrend.

By just looking at one quarterly report result is not reliable, but 3 consequential quarterly reports will be difficult for manipulation.

A base area acts as a support. The longer it stays there the stronger the support for the next wave of price appreciation. The catalyst for the next spurt in price will be the next 3 qtrs report. The last 3 quarterly reports commendable and that explains for the uptrend in the stock price.

Look beyond next qtr results.

By next week investors will have dividend money to accumulate more shares. This is in anticipation of better earnings in the coming quarterly results.

Many invested in PHuat wanted the share price to go up in the shortest time possible. But, if you have not accumulated enough you just wish the price of this share to come down further. Fund mgrs like to push prices down to weed out weak holders to build their positions.

According to the charts, PHuat did turnaround in the last 12, 6 & 3 months ago.

I think it is good for long term investors who unlike day traders and speculators who only want to make fast money. With the continuing improvement in PHuat's fundamentals as stated in the latest annual reports it will sooner or later be traded at higher prices.
Look out for new institutional investors in PHuat. If they increased their holdings then it will make another stride in its share price. With the coming PHuat's shareholders approval for the mandate to purchase it's own shares, this will be favourable for long term investors.

Usually after dividend payouts long term holders will use the dividend money to accumulate more shares.

Now is the good time to accumulate when weak sellers are unloading.

Poh Huat IPO was listed in the 2nd board on the 29th Mar 2000@Rm1.80 per share. Traded intra - high of RM1.90 Since then had never breached this level.

Very strong resistance at 1.40 once this level is broken I foresee a big leap in Poh Huat share price.

Poh huat director see values in his company. Others only buy / sell for short term speculative gains.
