@Charlie... i just noticed another hidden GEM - EVERGRN... go check this out.. easily give you 50% return in a year...

easily can make 8-10sen EPS in 2022, could be more.. so share price of 94 sen is definitely reachable

@charlie, correct. and probably they have secured some big orders or new customers... else YB Venture won't be so stupxd to invest so much into it.

Stock

in fact, I think YB Venture is still collecting from the open markets. Let's watch for the Bursa announcement for the next couple of days/weeks.

Stock

2022-03-31 10:50 | Report Abuse

new big shareholders YB Venture has collected 44,033,000 shares or 16.48% of the total shares via its subsidiaries Yi-Lai Marketing & Yi-Lai Industry. This shows that something is brewing otherwise they won't buy in so much regardless of the price (up to >80sen). That means they know the future value of Prlexus is definitely more than 80 sen. Guys, keep the shares and don't sell yet. It is not the time to sell yet.

it's actually simple. Because the insiders (directors/owners, etc) have the first hand info before the QR is released (around 30 days before the release of the QR), they already knew whether the results are good or bad. So, if they want to trade their shares during this period, they must notify Bursa to avoid misappropriation of the insider's news.

look at the last paragrapgh:

The Group’s operations in Thailand and Indonesia contributed positively to help
alleviate the losses in Malaysia in the current quarter and looking forward, the
Group is cautiously optimistic that after emerging from FMCO, its Malaysian
operations too, will contribute positively to the overall result.

in Q2 & Q3, Evergreen's Malaysian operations were affected by FMCO and they were forced to shut down. Malaysian sales and profits were impacted (see a loss), but Thailand and Indonesia contributed positively to overall group, so we still see overall profit.

In Q4, no more FMCO in Malaysia, the company expects much better results ahead.

No wonder ppl keep collecting it now...

very optimistic remarks in the Q3 report:

Commentary of Prospects
There has been increased optimism as countries start opening up their economies.
Even though Covid19 still remains a risk, countries are learning to live alongside it
as we adapt an ‘endemic’ point of view, rather than a ‘pandemic’.
Malaysia too, has better prospects as the country emerges from the Full Movement
Control Order (FMCO) which has been restrictive on most business activities.
Nonetheless, Covid19 remains a concern with an uptick in number of new cases
being reported.
During the 4 months of mandated shutdown from the Malaysian FMCO, it was the
Group’s diversified base of operations in Thailand and Indonesia that gave it the
resilience to remain profitable, with much improved contributions from its
Thailand operations due to an increase in panel board prices, as general economic
activities picked up around the world.
Nonetheless, there remain headwinds. The quick resurgence of economic activities
in China has put further strain on the logistics industry which continues to struggle
with limited shipping capacities. The Chinese resurgence also resulted in higher
costs of many commodities with supply-side playing catch up to high demand. The
lack of sufficient electricity in China further limits supply of materials. Of
particular concern is the increase in the price of raw materials used in the
manufacture of glue which was on a sharp rise, in tandem with oil price increase.
The price is currently stabilized.
All these challenges are balanced with more positive economic outlook. With
better overall demand in the Group’s key panel board product segment, the
increase in average selling price has thus far, kept pace with the increase in cost.
The Group will continue to work closely with its customers to optimize its pricing
structure while maintaining a healthy order book.
The Group’s operations in Thailand and Indonesia contributed positively to help
alleviate the losses in Malaysia in the current quarter and looking forward, the
Group is cautiously optimistic that after emerging from FMCO, its Malaysian
operations too, will contribute positively to the overall result.

the fire incident will only cause around RM100K loss but why today the share price dropped a lot? any other news?

1. Evergreen Fibreboard (JB) Sdn Bhd (EJB) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Evergreen Fibreboard Bhd with operations in Pasir Gudang and Segamat, Johor.
2. The fire incident which occurred on 11 December 2021 happened in its Segamat premise, had damaged the wood fibre storage bin. Aside from this storage bin, the fire did not damage other sections of EJB's machineries which are currently in operations.
3. As the cause of the fire in the wood fibre storage bin is still under investigation by the Fire Brigade's forensic department, Management will commence repair works immediately after the Fire Brigade completes their investigation. It is estimated that the cost of repairs will not exceed RM500,000.
4. EJB's Segamat operations contributes less than 5% to the Group's turnover. Potential profit foregone from the downtime is estimated to be around RM100,000, based on the duration of downtime expected for repair works. Therefore, based on above estimates, the temporary disruption to EJB's Segamat operations is not expected to have any significant impact on the Group's financial result for the financial year 2021.

So, this statement is correct!

"Positive sign/surprise is - during this MCO3.0, they have better revenue/sales in Q4 on apparel compared to Q3 (when no MCO3.0):
in Q3 - total revenue is 35,371 (without MCO 3.0)
In Q4, - total revenue is 38,671 (with MCO 3.0)"

jojo69, don't simply say my information is incorrect. I took this information from the latest quarterly report.

Don't be lazy, go read their latest QR. I don't want to be like a father scolding a lazy son.

in the QR, it is stated:

Current quarter results have been negatively impacted by the Movement Control Order 3.0 starting from 1 June
2021 whereby business activities are restricted to essential service sectors only. The operation of non-essential
service in the textile and apparel division were suspended and this has impacted the product delivery schedule to the
buyers. Besides actively engaging with the buyers on the rescheduling of delivery dates, the Group has seek
alternative with the China plant.

To be frank, the results are better than what I expected as I expected a bigger loss due to the MCO3.0 restriction on non-essential apparel business.

in the QR, it is stated:

Current quarter results have been negatively impacted by the Movement Control Order 3.0 starting from 1 June
2021 whereby business activities are restricted to essential service sectors only. The operation of non-essential

in Q3 - total revenue is 35,371 (without MCO 3.0)
In Q4, - total revenue is 38,671 (with MCO 3.0)

What does this mean? they have won more sales orders from customer in last quarter just that they were not allowed by government to operate.

This slapped the face or those haters that they lost business in apparels.

The main reason why they have a loss in the latest quarter is - MCO3.0, not allowed to operate.

Imagine if there is no MCO3.0, I am quite sure they will show positive profit.

Of course another risk is shortage on foreign labor but every company has that issue now.

very misleading so-called rubbish analysis... please... study all NIKE and ASICS segments to understand which segments are growing and which segments are slowing down... if Prolexus is sub-contracting segments that have slower business, then it is normal that Prlexus sales is impacted too...

@sujibaby, even if Prolexus has firm connection of their main customers, if their main customer's sales on knitted products dont sell good, will Prolexus benefit from this?

Stock

2021-07-29 10:11 | Report Abuse

@sujibaby, you are a more sensible person. I agree with you that there is still room for Prolexus management to do better. What I pointed out mainly is, if you compare Magnitech directly with Prolexus, they sell different types of apparels and if knitted fabric products dont sell good in the market, their sales will not be good too. So we cant just compare apple to orange.

@Shareburger, dont talk nonsense... losing the customer versus selling less to the customers are 2 different things.. okay? @cookielookz, please scroll up and see my earlier comment. I emailed their management and asked if they lost key customers like Nike and ASICS (as joker / scammer Karadis said he heard "rumours" they lost these main customers...hahahahahahahaha.... rumours...)...
then reply I got from the management is, these customers are still with them. Maybe because of the lower sales from NIKE / ASICS on knitted fabric product (which Prolexus mainly produces), we see that Prolexus recorded lower sales too.

But it is a joke that this joker Karadis simply sabotage them saying they lost these customers without having a proof...

in fact, it is quite obvious that he spent so much time here because he wanted to see the share price drop so he can jump in to collect them cheap...

else, why spend so much time here to "save" ppl??? hahaha... is he a SAINT?? so kind??? haahhahaha

guys, judge by yourself why Karadis is here...

@Sujibaby, I saw your analysis that you shared. I think most of the facts you put in the your analysis is good and solid.
But there is one point i have to highlight.

Magnitech mainly do woven fabric apparel while Prolexus do knitted fabric apparel.
See the difference here (see, i give facts, unlike joker Karadis said he heard rumours)
https://revolutionfabrics.com/blogs/gotcha-covered/when-to-choose-a-woven-fabric-over-a-knit-fabric#:~:text=The%20main%20difference%20between%20knit,a%20single%20yarn%20or%20thread.

So you cant compare apple with orange. both apparel products have different markets so it is not fair to compare their sales with Magnitech directly.

Of course I do think Prolexus management can improve on their sales strategy too, so I will write to their management to get some more insights

TheContrarian Prolexus have manufacturing operations in China or not?

@TheContrarian - yes, they have plant in China
https://www.prolexus.com.my/about-us1

They have apparel factory in CHina & Johor.
They have fabric factory in Johor (Fabric is the raw material to make apparel/sports wear/masks)

So they have vertically integrated model to control raw material costs. If they have extra fabric, they can sell to other apparel makers too
