Before MCO 2.0, Genting gave me 2 days free room at First World hotel. Plus free transport from KL to Genting. Spent RM5 for early check in. Spent another RM5 for snack. Brought my own food. Total spent RM 10 for my 2 days trip.

Gambling business: New casino only open ground floor, upper floor closed. Many tables not open. Most of gambles are local chinese uncles and aunties. Less crowded compared before covid.. maybe 10% of it. I wondering how can all these senior folks gamblers can have so much time and money to gambling. Once they loss all their money, then they will line up infront of ATM machine to withdrawn thousand ringgit to continue their gambling. And the end, they will loss all their hard earn retired $$. In the same van heading back to KL, i heard one 70 plus years old chinese auntie who same van with me said she loss RM800 in her 2 days stay in Genting. I observed that there is no cash deposit machine, only cash out atm machine.

F&B and retailer business.. most of stores were opening but i doubt will they able do 20 customers business in one day? Many shops and F&B were closing including McDonald. Very less crowd.

Hotel business: High class hotel still have crowd check in and out. But for First World Hotel they continues giving out free stay for it's members. Since it is the worlds largest hotel with 7000 plus rooms. After i came back from Genting, they sent me an email and giving me another free 2 nights hotel stay again in coming February. But, if you don't gambling then very boring to go there. Btw, their hotel's bed is very comfortable, i slept very well at cold weather.
