Reference is made to the letter from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) dated 10 November 2021 relating to the sharp rise in price and volume of TAFI Industries Berhad (TAFI) shares recently (“trading activity’).

In accordance with Paragraph 9.11 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("LR"), the Board of Directors of TAFI (“Board”) after having made due enquiry with all the Directors, major shareholders and such other relevant persons, wishes to inform that to the best of their knowledge, the following:

The company is still in the midst of deliberating on a corporate transaction to inter-alia enhance the tradeability and marketability of its shares, wherein the details have yet to be finalised at this juncture;

We are not aware of any rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of the Group that may account for the trading activity;

We are not aware of any other possible explanation to account for the trading activity; and
We are in compliance with the LR, in particular Paragraph 9.03 of the LR on the immediate disclosure obligations.
