From what I understand, their output remains the same at 360ktpa even after with the new refurbishment and etc. Only in the future, after 2023, dont know when will the output reach max output. I also notice the price of FeSi and SiMn have been dropping, if it continues to drop, the output increase will not compensate for the drop in price.

Can someone explain to be why the share price slumped during the past few months? Please dont say hidden hands.

Simply overvalued. PE44 with not much growth. Their bubble tea venture also doesn't look good. Ice Cream bought at over priced valuation. How much more can the grow? I much prefer they focus on supplying milk to starbucks or others, than to compete with them. Now that they are a competitor in the drink section, no way starbucks or tealive or zeus or any drink company will want to buy from them. never feed your competitor.

Last quarter they did make RM40m profit, the losses they registered is due to impairment because they closed down one of their most inefficient factory, just paper loss for accounting reasons. Doubt they will shut down any more factories, thus, if everything is ok, next quarter they will still register a profit, only how much.

if say harta profit maintain at rm40m per quarter and have an average PE of 15 only, it will go to RM1 and hover there for many years. prior to covid, it was at PE30++. TG has an even higher PE. PE is not everything but it just a gauge on investor's sentiment and confidence on the company's future.

Let the free market decides. If you disagree with bosses hiring foreigners, then use your money to vote by visiting FamilyMart. Do not dine at places that hires foreigners. Buy a very very old house and renovate it yourself as newer houses are all build by foreigners, and when renovating, hire 100% locals, walk the talk.

Consumer wants cheap and affordable stuff, local cost more to hire, I can also say because consumer demand low prices, therefore bosses have no choice but to hire cheap foreign workers so that they can sell at lower profit margin. right? unless you are the type that likes to pay more and happy everytime good goes up in price.

1. I've worked in the service industry before, a restaurant to be specific. Why foreigners are better than workers when it comes to working behind the kitchen? They work hard, complain less, can OT anytime, put in 101%. Locals.... they are the opposite. And most important of all, locals will work for 3 or 6 months, sometimes 1 year and then leave, foreigners will work for 2 or 3 years. If turn over is high, very hard to run a business. But for business than needs to communicate with customers, local is better.

2. Why Telco companies hire locals? There are laws, not every industry can employ foreigners, like banking, medical etc. If the laws allows it, bosses will hire.

1. Did they stop selling newspaper and magazine because they choose to do so or they are forced to do so? After lockdown, Bluinc, one of the biggest magazine publisher declared bankrupt, and due to lockdown, many people are dragged to the digital age.

MFCB did mentioned about looking at a new hydro project in the future, I wonder if it will be a collaboration between TNB and MFCB in Laos. Anwar just visited Laos and signed some MOU, hopefully a new hydro via TNB-MFCB, a big Hydro. TNB buying power from Laos, might as well go build a hydro dam too.

1. First of all, the name is kind of outdated, they got no news to sell. And why start a new brand? I rather they start a new Maru Convenient Store with new concept. Branding is important, and mynews already lost.

2. I do enter CU, I buy the bingsu as my son loves the bingsu. When they started CU, they only sell Korean food and stuff, like 100% korean, I can't even find a pack of twisties. I dont know korean junk food, I dare not buy. Price is not an issue for me. But since then, they'v changed and started to stock up some local food, they started with the wrong concept and foundation. If FM only sells nothing but Japanese food, I can assure you it will flop too.

3. Shop manage is to make sure everything is run smoothly, if I am the shop manager and profit and loss is my responsibility, what I will do is I will try not to order too many food to be displayed. If the food dont sell, I will bear the consequences for the losses. If I order little bit, as long as I dont lose money, I dont care, ends up most of the time the shelves are empty or not available. As a manager, if there are some corndog that cannot be sold today, I will keep it in the fridge and reheat it tomorrow, as long as I sell and dont make a loss, I dont care about food freshness. FM will throw and prepare new food tomorrow, fresh. As time goes by, CU food will be knows as soggy, hard, not fresh... etc.

What are they? a mart with a mini convenient store? can they compete with 99 on price? can they compete with 711, FM on the convenient store? What is it? Not here not there. I have no problem with them moving into mini mart business, if they want to, start with a new name and dont include a mini convenient store in it. Make sure it is 100% a mini mart. This is like buying a hybrid car, not powerful enough, not quite energy efficient, then 10 years later battery die need lots of money.... hard to sell as no demand for 2nd hand... hybrid is the worse type of product/business.

TG can go to 50 cents or lower if they continue to bleed like this. Next QR confirm lose money again. Pre-covid, their profit margin not that high, unlike harta. Harta profit margin was high, they have room to move, thus they are profitable now, but TG always has low margins... how to make money now? all they can do is lose less, but problem is, they dont have the cash to burn, even those glove co in China are cash rich, can burn for years just to see TG die.

TG literally screw themselves by doing that crazy sharebuyback and crazy dividends. Now they are running out of cash and losing money with no 2nd income. Harta is profitable and new comers like MahSing can continue to slug it out if they choose to do so as they have property and plastic business to sustain the fight.

Go to the first CU in central point BU... see for yourself... I saw bangla working there now. Kind of hard to communicate with them as sometimes they dont know what I want. Malaysians are easier to communicate but I guess they are more expensive to hire.

have any of the new glove maker close shop? mahsing, gkent, etc are all still operating their glove business at a loss, this includes those in China and Thailand. How does that work? PP investors still need to pay for the shares, right? So, if they PP at RM0.015 and it goes down to RM0.010, then the PP investors lost money, right? My question is, why are they doing this? Is it to keep the company aflot while borrowing money from banks to pay for the directors fees?
