WSJ just reported GE already commenced early discussion with KWSP for sale of a stake in its Malaysian operation. There is also some speculations of an IPO to meet Bank Negara's ruling to Malaysianise said stake.

Plantations in the east coast i.e. Pahang, Kelantan and Trengganu poor development potential and suffer from constant floodings. Hence, the land thereof do not command attractive valuations.
