Yes, conversion ratio will determine the pricing of each CW. Premium @ 17-08-12 CB 2.47%, CD 2.88%.

I suppose it depends on the time frame to reach the target price of 2.80. CB has a shorter expirty date (24-12-12) compared to CD (28-02-13). When will the target price be reached? That should be one consideration.

No Mat Cendana, a warrant holder is NOT entitled to purchase BIMB shares. This is a put-warrant, similiar in characteristics of a call warrant e.g BIMB-CC, CD; But works on the opposite direction in terms of share price.

The article in The Edge Weekly dated 9th July, describe it as a call warrant. The Edge issued a correction in this week's issue (16th July).

But thanks to that article I sold mine, bought much earlier, at a 2 sen profit on the 9th July :) I will trade again.

I am a bit blur on the Gearing too, so dont use it in making my decision when buying/selling warrants.

SKPETRO-CD has a longer period to expiry,28-02-2013, compared to CB (24-12-2012);
has a lower exercise price of RM1.90 against CB (2.00); though the excercise ratio is higher at 3x compared to CB (2x);

Based on the last traded price of RM2.20 for mother share, CD carries a lower premium of 6.82% vs CB (7.27%);
and sen for sen, CD is lower at 15sen against CB (18sen).

My two-cent worth, CD is a better buy then CB. Trade with caution.

While you are at it, you might want to look at SKPETRO-CD too.

I sold my at 2.65 and waiting to collect at a much lower price that its been traded now, and i do believe in the fundamentals of this company.

Dividend: I hold the view that the announcment of dividend will have to take account of the DRS. This is on the assumption that they company would prefer a higher take-up rate on the conversion to share rather than a cash dividend payout. But then again, the company is also cash rich.

Thus, until that price fixing date is confirmed, there may not be an dividend announcement. But I am not sure if there are any Bursa Guidelines on such announcments, someone else can provide additional info.

Ya, they throw the spanner when the price in going up. I have seen it happened to a few counters, which subsequently come down because of them.

klsebandit: As you receive notice of the AGM, you are entitled to attend. Even if you hold only 1 share, you are shareholder and can attend all meetings called for shareholders.

Good return only if you sell at 34 sen or higher. Sell lower than 31.5 sen, you lose.

2.5 sen x number of shares.

Dividend payout only for ordinary shares, not for call warrants.
