https://www.chinadailyasia.com/article/130345 looks like coca-cola is entering the dairy milk market in china. Perhaps they also recognize the huge market potential

STOR reit in US - Look interesting especially recent price got beaten to IPO level, likely to ride out of the covid storm as majority of the tenants are SME service providers that everybody needs after lock down. http://ir.storecapital.com/interactive/newlookandfeel/4553160/STORE_Capital_Provides_Corporate_Update.pdf

Hi Philip, it seems Yinson has acquired a stake in an India solar power farm (140MW). From the surface level, looks like a good deal as they paid RM 67M for 37.5% stake which equivalent to about RM179 Mil at 100% stake, comparing to RM170 Mil to build 70MW farm by one of the incumbent power player.

https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/small-biz/productline/power-generation/jakson-to-set-up-70-mw-solar-power-plant-in-assam-with-an-investment-of-rs-300-crores/articleshow/74649313.cms

Though India Solar power tariff is much lower than Malaysia, if I just used RM 0.2 per kWh rate, the profit from this acquisition is still looking attractive with 22yrs of power purchase agreement remaining.

Interested to hear your thought in this. Thank you very much in advance.

My take is MKH is one of the stable counter. Buy from price weakness...don't chase high

In my opinion, there are a lot of optimism being built in this stock, driving the share price to this level when the result missed expectation. The business itself looks great, record unbilled sales, efficient and increasing FFB output (the yield is even better compare to other young planter in KLSE) which will helps to fuel future earning growth. Based on earning power valuation, EV/EBIT, RM2.2 - RM2.6 would probably serve as better entry price. I have owned this stock since few years back and has seen the stock price retract 30%-40% from its peak. There wasn't much mentioned about this stock and its potential in plantation and MRT driven property theme during that time. The stock has been performing since then with only a glimpse of their earning potential. I will continue to add if the share price ever drop to my target entry unless the business quality change. Just my two cent.

Will bonus issue has any negative impact to the son? I might be asking a stupid question here but trying to rationalize the exercise.

Hi KC Chongz,
Please allow me to give you many thumbs up for your analysis and clear explanation on ROE. I am wondering whether is there a way to tweak the ROE to looks good? For example, distributing dividend driving down the asset denominator but of course, a company can't really do that without solid cash flows. Companies such as Dlady and Nestle is able to maintain high ROE for many years.

Another question is, I still couldn't get how you come up with the fair value? Would you mind to explain more on the formula and the rationale behind it?

Million thanks on your unselfish sharing. Salute!!
