Would all the top clients and funds missed irregularities in Yinson's accounts? This is a very deep allegation if you don't substantiate with facts, not just pointing here and there on the accounts. Drawing dividends they would better reinvest into the company to grow it as well as take it forward into renewable energy and electric energy and they substantiate with proof of execution. Also, Yinson has maintained fleet uptime of above 99% since 2014.

Don’t know why Yinson would need to own factories or properties and play their asset value. They own FPSOs which are worth more than some buildings. In the offshore space, oil rigs and OSVs became over built the last O&G cycle which ended in 2014. FPSO as an asset class, however, have remained resilient because they are custom built specially for certain oil fields. Each asset can be more than 1 billion USD.

The oil company typically charters these assets from players like Yinson to produce the oil from their oil field till the reserves run out. As for the debt, my reading is that this goes up every time they secure a new project because they borrow to build the FPSO and earn a return over the life of the charter. This is very much like how any asset owner earns from a lease. Imagine, if you build a toll road you borrow to build first then collect and earn money over time except you have a fixed charter rate. As for dividends, if keep building new FPSOs, how to pay new dividend. As example, if we personally we keep purchasing new houses to rent out, how then to give big ang pow to relatives? It's reinvesting.

Yinson clients are top reputable clients such as ENI, Petrobras, JX Nippon, Petronas and Petrovietnam. Each have teams to study Yinson's financials before awarding them projects. Some clients are more than 100 billion USD market cap.
