Lots said about the silence by the GOM as endorsement of the NIISE moving forward with IRIS but at the same time, not enough is being said about the silence from IRIS about the sale of IRIS Tech to TTSB. Isnt there a biased narative being played here?

Since its a non-complaince from the seller side, therefore more likely to have some form of liability. Keeping in mind, its not the buyer who does not want to pay.

2. The camp which is cautious that the deal to purchase Silterra might fall apart.

Both have their merits, but no point shooting down any of the arguements as silly etc because at this point of time, either camp 1 or camp 2 are not far reaching possibilities.

"KUALA LUMPUR (March 23): Malaysia Airlines Bhd has confirmed that the company’s restructuring effective date occurred yesterday (March 22, 2021) and, accordingly, the group’s Islamic bonds or sukuk of up to RM1.5 billion will be cancelled next Monday (March 29, 2021).

CIMB Investment Bank Bhd, which is is the facilitator of the unrated perpetual sukuk Musharakah of up to RM1.5 billion, said yesterday the Islamic bonds under stock codes PZ160003 and PZ160004 will be cancelled next Monday.

"Please refer to the sukuk trustee for further details,” CIMB said in a filing yesterday on Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) Fully Automated System for Issuing Tendering (FAST) website.

CIMB did not specify in the filing the name of the trustee for Malaysia Airlines' RM1.5 billion sukuk.

Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional Bhd owns Malaysia Airlines via Malaysia Aviation Group Bhd (MAGB)."

If its true that the sale of Silterra is related directly/indirectly to the restructuring of MAS, then the agreement should be finalized soon. Khazanah will need the cash.

From recent PP announcements, after the PP announcement, there was good news announcement (same day or day after). Could the same thing be happening again? Wait and find out... :D
