《当今财经》报道，据传早在2007年底，一批银行家就曾会见政府高层提出赛莫达借债过高的问题，担忧一旦出现危机，就可能会对银行业带来严重的威胁。

一名熟知有关会面的市场观察员表示，“这是非常严重的投诉，这对（银行家）来说是一个问题。”
