Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 9 January 2017 and 13 January 2017, pertaining to the Notice of Termination and Demand from the Plaintiffs.

The Company wishes to announce that on 23 February 2017, the Company was served with a Writ and Statement of Claim both dated 21 February 2017 by Adnan Sundra & Low, the solicitors for the Plaintiffs pursuant to the termination by the Plaintiffs of a Settlement Agreement dated 6 March 2015. The Plaintiffs are claiming for the full sum outstanding (Principal plus Interest) of RM72,533,945.10.

However, SRB is disputing the claim. SRB’s solicitors, Messrs. Shearn Delamore & Co will be filing a Memorandum of Apperance and a Defense in respect of the claim filed by the Plaintiffs, within the prescribed time period, subject to the directions from Court.

The matter has been fixed for case management on 7th March 2017.

SRB will make further announcements of any material development on the above matter.
