the bright spot in 9M16 was the 41% on-year growth in construction revenue on the back of an RM1.3bil outstanding order book, which included the RM1.3bil Pan Borneo Sarawak package to the Musyati-Mudajaya JV.

it is simple panic reaction...when 90% drop..this shows worse than a loss making company which only drop 10%

as mentioned by the mgt, optimistic in transition...hopefully gain more strength also after opec cut

many oil counters making loss again this qtr...coastal remain green consider very good...

QR prospects said coastal group is still optimistic ...
with current multi year low, price should already reflect the poor result...the one speculating on oil run away already very early...what happen to the little volume stuck here are leftover one picking the cheap...

Depreciation expenses affect net operating income but does not affect operating cash flows. Since a company doesn't spend money for a depreciation expense, it is not taken into account in operating cash flows. Although a company could have high operating cash flows, it can have a low net operating income due to depreciation expenses.

on the operating income ttm of 73mil, the interest payment for the same period is 26Mil. Times interest earned is not yet smaller than one or have to either use cash on hand to make up the difference or borrow funds.
the cash from operation is also improving from negative to positive 3.7mil in the period ending june. it is a good sign after so many quarters in reds. hopefully new projects from construction will continue to improve while waiting for the sale of PPA.

the reason of low price is because of the recent huge loss, it is stated there non-cash here.

is the disposal of power plant a worth decision instead of getting the 30Mil per year which is expected only in 2017? the different of book value and current valuation is stated 0.4 Bil and this is already closer a lot to the current market cap of 0.5B...someone may be can enlighten me.
