Generally there are many type of traders,
Some of them....

1) high frequency trader ..........in matters of minutes
2) 1min/5min/15min trader.......in their respective timeframe
3) breakout trader ....................intraday
4) 1 hr trader.............................intraday
5) swing trader..........................1~3 days
6) short term trader...................1~5 days
7) wave trader ..........................1~5 days
8) others....................................it depends on their strategy.

For newbies....needs to do paper trades first to find out which one suit you instead of blindly follow sifu sifu. If you dont do your homeworks, you will continue paying tuition fees to the market. And dont come here....cry father cry mother that you loss bcos you followed sifu.
