To those who wish to invest in O&G

Please be caution cause WTI contract for May will expire on Tuesday (19 May midnight) and WTI traders will start to sell/dump a day before expiry which is on Monday night (KLSE closed) when US market start to open the price may go into negative or lower than $10 and this will cause panic the next day. Historically we have seen this happen and when this does then the brent will also go down by 5%. For the past 2 months we all know that there were limited storage, so who ever committed to hold WTI Oil will need have storage by end of this month to take and store their oil loads. If they are not able to do that then the classic dump at Zero value will take place hence the price will be readjusted to lower. My advice is to hold on until next Thursday to invest, increase or average in any O&G counters.

Just sold all my Dayang at lesser profit, my cost was at 0.94 Will buy back at below 0.9 if goes down again next month. I started to invest more in Ruberex since yesterday.

As at now there is no news about suspension being extended for Regulated Short Selling (RSS) and Intraday Short Selling (IDSS). So BE EXTRA CAREFUL if using Margin to trade.

My humble advice to all newbies, if you have invested your savings in Dayang ...please treat this investment as your Fixed deposit (FD) for the next 6 to 9 months (don't bother the trend)...Compared to bank FD of less than 4% max , u will...confirm earn more than 100% from Dayang in 6 months. Q1(May end) result will not be good if based on historical trend but don't be disappointed and sell... just hold till Q2 to seen the returns...In the past, I have kept my investment from end of 2018 (Dec) up till 2020...only sold before 2020 CNY and made 350% profit...just my 2 cents.

Why so many negetive postings.. as we all know Opec and few other non Opec members have agreed to the cuts. China is near full operational, india has agreed to continue stock up oil from Aramco, US can still store for 1more month... Saudi will be announcing the latest May oil price soon today(sunday around 6pm) , which expected to be higher.WTI expected to open high tomorrow morning and followed by Brent on tuesday(Monday will be PH in UK ester Monday )...so dont worry, dont panic and please be more up-to-date with the latest news. I dont follow the old fellow KYY or anyone in this forum to invest in shares..i do my own research and lots of reading before investing...my 2cents.

I believe today’s Bull Trap might have been set by the big GUNS and Institutional Investors KWSP,KWAP and etc to make their profit and exit before the world O&G go downtrend starting from tomorrow(today for US) . As we all saw the 1st Half of today, the entire KLSE O&G counters was set at consistent buy mode to push the price higher than the resistance level and by doing so the Bull trap was activated. However for the most patience and discipline investor the entire trend was at caution mode and this was clearly noticeable.

Again I feel pity for the newbies and for short term BIG gain(contra players).

Today price is high but just be caution because tonight US oil stockpile report(March) will be out and Brent + WTI will react adversely and tomorrow morning Malaysian(Asian) may see a downtrend. Just my 2 cents

Donald Trump signed a law authorizing $2.2 trillion in spending to protect the U.S. from the economic fallout.What will this reflect to oil price.? As we all know Trump last week said he would get involved in the oil price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia at the appropriate time.. Well with the 2.2T approved US will be replenishing it's oil reserves at lower price and then by next week(or month-April) joint venture with Saudi. This will kill Russian oil market instantly since US oil market covers Europe and Asia. We will see Brent price to shoot higher than $30-$40 next week or so... I plan to buy more O&G from Monday onwards for long term investment . my 2cents comment

Do note that oil price is still volatile. DJI shoot high due to Fed announcement and currently DJI future is in (-) trend. Wait till 2 -3 days to monitor the trend before investing(long Term). Best time will be next monday onward .
