It was a good news though as TNB able to secure 50MW at a fixed rate for 25years whereas the TNB charges to consumer is subject for increment on any renewal of rates from the federal government.

Indeed, it won't bring much material affect for 2014 because the case just brought up in the court. Usually the legal proceeding took quite a long time so the result maybe will come out around mid 2015 - 2016. Most of the time the outcome for cases like this would be like shtan88 said: out of court settlement.

Expecting another 2 quarter of bad performances, there might be some improvement on the market sentiment for the time being but in the coming months there might be a better indications once the rice scheme charges from NACC on the Yingluck had been decided.

We do short sell when we expecting the stock price to go down instead of go up. It's not applicable to all stock in BURSA, only some stocks can be shorts.

These had been the "culture" for 57year so don't expect any changes if there's no change in the leadership. Unless the opposition had the back-up from military or police forces, otherwise never ever think of any change government or so.

This counter price is control by retail players, The boss listed the company just for the sake of "LISTED" status.

I don't expect daya 1st quarter result would be great, but no matter what I'm going to hold till the 2nd quarter as that's the time SD1 and SD2 contribution starts to kick in!!

Now is bull market, everyone prefer to go for small or mid cap stock as their rallies is more volatile and potentially gives them very high return like Dsonic, Insan, GHL....I think it had found it's bottom and slowly rebounding as more and more players starts to diversify into fundamental counters like these instead of market play counters

Hope they get some projects regardless of big or small, we need project! Haha!

Buyer could be some retail/fund manager as start mid of last month there's some slight focus on the property sector especially on the big cap player. As for seller,it could be some players who are like you said "tired of waiting" because this counter have not been moving much like other counter(Eg, Dsonic, Insas, SKpetro and etc...)

I'm tempted to leave too, but in the end I chose to stay as last year I'm running around the counters chasing for the "best" counter, in the end my return was much smaller if I were to stay in one counter within the same period of time.

GDV = RM31.26billion, unbilled sales = RM4.4billion(End-December), enough for Mahsing to sustain until 2017. Hope the buying momentum could continue, Mahsing is such a laggard compare with other big cap property counter.

SD1 is chartered out for October - November(one month) only to Allsea, and then only it would start the long term contract with Technip on April 2014. So in between there's a gap of 4month (November - February) which SD1 would remained un-utilized and not generating extra income for the company

Since it's not the money from their own pockets, who care whose money is that! If you say they might contribute to KWSP,KWAP and any retirement fund too, yes they might but who care about those small money when they would easily get millions from the contract awarded or super CHEAP land deal from the government...

I saw the latest announcement about the legal case then only I notice Mark no more with the company, now DOC was handled by James Klopper whom are promoted from COO position. I'm just worried that with Mark leaving the company would have bring some effect to the company, but atless with James still stay on to grow the company which is some consolation to the company.

Hopefully the company would still able to squeeze more O&G contract from Technip since James was part of the parties that nego for the contract

I had a Question which I found after going through all the company announcement but still can't find my answer to it.

1)DOC which is the subsidiary that clinched the technip contract, when did Mark Midgley(ex-CEO of DOC) left the company?
2)Mark midgley which owned 20% of DOC, had he been fire on any reasons?
3)How come Daya had not make announcement regarding the departure of one of the key personal of its subsidiary which going to contribute more than 50% of the company profits?

He shouldn't' announced if it's all based on the analysis and satellite pictures. Yes it's true that it's right in the middle of ocean and there's not a SINGLE chance they could land but even if it really crash landed and all not able to survive, kindly furnish all the details like pictures of the crash site. You can't just announce something like this all based on analysis, even if it's 100% accurate! Analysis and FACT is different!!!!
