pharker, these warrants are supposed to be priced using the black-scholes model. theoretically it is possible for both puts and calls to trade in the same direction even if the underlying index doesn't move, this is called option gamma. a real fund manager would know this and not simply refer to it as a "premium".

The index is just one variable...when volatility mean reverts (it always does just look at the VIX), say goodbye to your warrant premium. It's cimb that's pulling a fast one on you not our dear epf. This is why you shouldn't blindly follow charlatans like AJ.
