Hi everyone, I'm a fresh graduate from University. The purpose I post this topic is just want to understand more information about the Proprietary Trader this job position under Investment bank. Since year 2020 until now Malaysia suffer the covid-19 case in our country, however, our equity market moved into fluctuation.Is it good timing for the person to join Proprietary Trader this job position (trade Malaysia equity market only) during Covid 19 period?

That mean is losses even though the staff terminated by Investment bank still need to pay back the money? Or the trader need to earn back the money from the market in next month if the the current month trader loss the money?
