Wong HK, in order for spac to survive, I think the promoter/management should be like a broker/fund managers/consultants (albeit salary and expenses already been paid), entitle only to 3-5% free ownership lah. In a effective market, the share price after successful QA would drop 20% (if promoter gets 20% free ownership), I might as well buy the shares after QA rather than buying at 20% more expensive price before QA, assuming that the proposed QA is a superb asset.

You are right, the Sxxx insider (management) should take the blame because they are not convincing that the QA is really good bargain or good investment in the long run, otherwise they should buy up the shares themselves way before QA is tabled for voting.In fact, the independant valuer actually noted the QA as not a "fair price".The insider/m people only interested to get their free 20% once the QA is approved.

Sad but look at it as: may be the results save me from losing more. Now lose a few sen per warrant (have to blame my self to take the risk in the first place). If QA passed, I converted and added another 30 sen and later the share crushed like Hibiscus now, I may lose more...

I think cannot blame the voting results. If the QA is so good, investors including the management should buy up the SONA shares from the market to whatever 56 sen that they claim it is worth before the voting!

Credit Suisse and PAG (both with substantial shareholdings) may not just keep quiet and let the management play the delay game (of refund).

Management gets their free 20% only if QA passed. That is why Cliq goes to court to challenge to try get their free 20%, and delay the return of money to the rightful investors! Very unfair to the investors.They (best oracle) should not file for judicial review, just like they are not allowed to vote.

so these people who bought SONA after 20 April 2016 is automatically considered as yes or No votes? Can they not request for shares repurchase?
