yes, BJCorp still owns some BJAuto through a JV with the BJAuto management team. BJCorp injected BJAuto shares not sold during the last round into the JV company.

freetospeak, there's concern if the last payment can be recovered. Quite frankly, I'm a bit pissed off over this. I raised the payment issue during the AGM and was told something like no concern... ended no payment!

err... i was kind of hoping VT will grow Vietnam Toto business, address Cosway issues and make it profitable again, and selling off big but yet to go big overseas property projects, and start giving dividends, starting from 0.02 per share (less than RM 100 million a year) to 0.05 per share (less than 250 million a year) and occasional special dividend when some of its subsidiaries are sold at good profit.

rMoi, there isn't much left about both deals! The rest of the money is needed for plantation and construction. Plantation land without palm trees are useless and construction project can't be carried out without money...

Hopefully VT will offer at least 0.02 per share dividend this year to compensate for last year's missed dividend...

actually, a strengthening RM, while offer BJCorp a savings opportunity from smaller size equivalent RM debt, would result in BJCorp's net asset per share to drop. BJCorp is having a net foreign asset, so a strengthening RM will reduce its overseas net worth in RM.
