Aside from morning excitement, not much action left. At this point, it'll drift southward till lunch and maybe recovery in afternoon.

Trump's news on improving trade was before market opened. During the morning market, hsi was already +500, and had been moving in tight range. A spike in market due to news was due to euphoria. After the market calmed down, there will be pullback.

And surging +500 for the day is already at high range, the risk to reward to short before lunch is ok, seeing limited upside and more downside. Even if market didn't drop, I can still get out with small cut loss. Another surge to +1000 during lunch was unexpected. How often do you see another +500 during lunch hours when it was already +500 earlier.

I'm anticipating a similar case to Xi's reelection news, where it's a positive news among downtrend. Hsi surged +600 points in the morning, stalled from 11am onwards, and then plummeted -600 points after lunch.

Also, the news is a bit of suspect given the source and how close it's to his election, and how he's a lying piece of shit.

No worries, got burned bad today too. Thought market digested the news in the morning. Saw the exhaustion to climb up further and all in put. Instead, lunch happened and 500 turned to 1100. Live to fight another day.

For those who day trade, do you go for higher sensitivity or higher gearing? I like sensitive but greedy for higher gearing.

How do you go about selecting the most profitable warrant during a time crunch, ie, sneaking to look at phone to trade.

Let's say if I'm aiming for 150 pts each trade, what balance sensitive/gearing should I look for?

Sigh, stuck in meeting until now. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the index. Cl and lost 10 bids today. Shouldn't have enter when no time to monitor.

What do you all think? Resign from job so that have time to monitor, or stay with job and ignore hsi? Or stay in between?

lilith, the decay for 2 weeks is quite severe. Depending on what type of warrant - short or long term, you could still lose a lot from decay even if the price returned, unless of course, hsif overshoot 27600.

I sold off, anticipating a bit of pullback and because I'm busy with work. No time to monitor.
