Quite right..many good cheap stock and better managed companies .And SC /KLSE should not approve rights issue based on the existing business model which has failed..resulting in capital reduction because of past accumulated losses of the said failed business model.

Listed companies would usually engage a Merchant Bank or now Investment Bank as adviser to do all the submissions including submission to the high court...the Investment Banker would usually proceed only as advisers….after they are convinced of the completion of the whole procedures required for purpose of capital reduction and shares consolidation….the scheme….the most important approval in this whole process is the shareholders’ approval for the said scheme...which the company has secured….the rest are procedural, I feel it is a matter of time for the court to approve the scheme….unless like I said before ,,some minority shareholders lodged a report or file in court to stop or to derail the scheme. The possibility is always there….so far we have not heard of any minority shareholders taking legal action against the company on the said scheme…whether the company is a viable concern with the present business model and what they propose to do in the future with a new business model to enhance the company’s future viability…will reflect what directors and management of this company are made off…but if there is none and if they are only interested in raising capital via rights issues for the present business ..we doomed ..there appears to be .”massive brain drain” or simply “ the brains have gone to the drain” ,,of the management team…neither is good news for investors...jump ship..?

So , when is court approval for the share capital reduction exercise....?Once the share capital reduction and consolidation exercises are completed the company will be attractive for takeover target and/or assets injections.The last time someone put up in this forum the company's time table for these exercises completion,they were supposed to be at end of June 2015.Hopefully they still are on track as far as the time table goes. .

Have TMS secured the Court Approval for the share capital reduction..anyone? This is merely procedural.The court normally will not reject capital reduction submission by the co. when it has been approved by the shareholders at the EGM..unless the minority shareholders lodged a complaint.Meanwhile no tsunami,no earth quake,no thunder ,no typhoon, until the court approval is secured & cleared. By the way, unfortunately no chieng cheing either...until the court approves. Hopefully there will be some news next week on this court approval issue. Meanwhile calm before the storm...brace for the coming good times..chieng chieng,earthquake, tsunami etc on the price? All the best guys..hopefully your expectations are met and not otherwise.

yes..lots of good advice coming out there ..health is wealth is more important..& yes reasonable hope & vision[but not blind hope though..]..would agree with all that...hmmm...but we must understand this "universal law"..."what goes around comes around"..if the sleeping directors /syndicates cause harm to us in term of losses...etc..these will eventually go back to them..one way or the other and in many forms..likewise we are also subjected to this law as well...
unfortunately..ie no body is above this"law"...looks like the first thing to do is to look at ourselves..??The problem, is stock/share trading is a zero sum game...one guy's gain is one other guy's loss...,
