Forget about those arbitrary news to trap retail investors. There are still a lot of uncertainties and the company could only be revived if all of these go through:
1) A white knight to acquire stake of Perisai from Ezra and Emas - Could it be Subsea 7?
2) Scheme of arrangement of Perisai with creditors is successful
3) Injection of fund to carry on potential project - Could be FPSO project with Shell Sabah?
The company is in a bad shape right now. But if the deal goes through, then Perisai can easily bounce back to 40 cents. Otherwise, you name the consequence.

If you have engaged the management before, you will feel their attitude is just sitting down there to wait and find excuses for whatever circumstances. Below is what I personally think about the management team:
1) blaming low oil price as the reason they couldn't find any contract while other players are proactively reaching out to global market like middle east for job opportunities
2) buy assets with existing contract then wait for the contacts to mature n assets to idle without exploring new opportunities. Just sitting down there waiting for contract frm Petronas
3) wait till their debts matured then only check if they can raise any fund or cut any cost

Without changing the management team, this company is hopeless.

The whole management team should be sacked and replaced. I look into this company and found that they never secure any contract for the past few years. Although oil price is still low relative to past few years, but many companies have obtained contracts recently.
The shareholders should cooperate and exercise their rights to change the managemant team.

If i were the sharesholders, i will demand changes towards the whole management team.

Based on source, a Malaysian company is interested in taking up the controlling stake of Perisai from Ezra Holdings and Emas Offshore. However, it's still at very preliminary stage. If the proposal can be materialized then Perisai is going to revived. If otherwise, the hope of surviving will be extremely thin.

But this stock only suitable for people can take high risk.

Let me explain why I keep highlighting on the coming results performance. First, please adknowlege that the recent sell down is due to poor sentiment of stocks market as a whole as well as poor prospect of the sector itself. The quality of the new leadership is also in focus followed by the changes in 3Q15.

Now, the trading trend is quite similar to trading trend in 2013. However, the stocks price has rebounded strongly after Feb 13 due to impressive 4Q12 results.

Let's judge on the results probably to be released this afternoon then we will determine whether to go in again.

The buyback in small amount can't sustain if investors continue to dispose heavily via open market

Seems like valuation is more fair at 0.88-0.90 but lack of catalyst at this moment. Coming QE will be the key to re-access the position of this company. Only promote or push if results is good. Else no point wasting ur efforts.

Crest123, what makes you think that the pending results will be better one? What makes you foresee extra profits recognized this quarter while there isn't any new contract win or new project launches unless the concession or rental income can increase drastically. All the sizeable projects mentioned before seem have been delayed as there isn't any sound anymore. If the results can beat 3Q15 then of course I am confident that it can be pushed up to > RM1 easily since the volume is so thin.
