KUALA LUMPUR: UOB Kay Hian Malaysia Research believes that MyEG Services stands to be the sole beneficiary of e-bidding for the vehicle registration number plates which can be seamlessly integrated into the existing road transport department e-portal which it manages.

It said on Wednesday based on its channel checks, “we understand that the pilot stage of the e-bidding services for vehicle plates could begin as early as next month with the actual roll-out of the services on January 2019”.

（吉隆坡4日讯）MyEG服务（My E.G. Services Bhd）表示，报导暗示该集团在大马的非法外籍劳工管理合约被临时终止是不准确和误导的，这是因为该项目坚持现有的规定期限。

该集团今日向大马交易所报备，该集团于2017年1月23日宣布当天获得内政部的通知信，把项目截止日期从2016年8月15日延长至2017年12月31日。

MyEG服务说：“此外，董事部想澄清的是，根据内政部志期2017年1月23日的信函，该项目的新注册已经自2017年12月31日起终止。”

该集团表示，报导所述的2018年6月30日截止日期是“允许所有剩余注册人完成项目下所有未决程序的宽限期”。

“因此，正如报导中提到的那样，项目的任何临时终止问题并没有产生，因为该项目将持续一段固定的时间，并且遵守现有的规定期限。董事部希望向各方保证业务活动不会发生变化，并且所有特许权和商业服务都照常运作。”
