Don't wish to sound pessimistic....what if the Company lose both the legal case as well as IRB case? Can anyone confidently say these cases can never shake the Company?😰

Look if the major shareholder, Ayalaland has fullest confidence in Avaland by providing shareholder's advance......and if the major shareholder is prepared to "invest" another RM500m........what has an ordinary shareholder like us got to lose!

This itself is a queue that the latter will shoot up 2X to 4X from current level in near term.

@Whiteevoque......are u suggesting the Board is also sleeping on their job before this quarter announcement? Out of a sudden, they woke up and panicked and PROVIDE what ever there is to PROVIDE irrespective of any FORCE MAJEURE clause. If it was all due to pandemic/MCO imposed, I belief following your line of thought, all BURSA listed companies would have then wipe out in trillions in market capitalisation if ALL companies make FULL provisions.

Let us recalled that in the past, there was once a company by the name Goh Ban Huat Berhad and usually their EPS is in a single digit EPS. Out of a sudden, it was announced that the quarter EPS was 80sen and the stock went limit up in the next few sessions. Looks like their book keeper/CFO/Co Sec as well as Board of Directors are sleeping on their job.

Bursa quickly issued UMA and true enough, there was indeed an error detected! The shares went limit down in next few session. GBH was reprimanded by BURSA but the real victims are those innocent investors who chase the stock on the way up.

Company says no impact woh.....but I wonder why then make such huge provision???

If LAD is upheld, then the Company will be in financial distress.....how to pay LAD when only got 150m. No one will pick up PP or RI.

Meanwhile, I enjoy the quarterly dividend first. Not many counters in Bursa today, can pay dividends every quarter! Look at SCGM record....28 straight uninterrupted quarters.... paying since 31 July 2015. Many thanks to the Board.

Don't worry, I shall fully support the resolution at EGM and see the deal through. As time passes, I am nearer to collecting my fat bonus.

Let's forget above the glove company....the oil & gas company....the oil palm companies......With my years of investment experiences.....this is definitely one of the very few gems available in Bursa. Will add to my investment portfolio.

There is a difference between selling Scgm @ 2.83 v selling business @ 2.83.

I am sure the listing status of Scgm is worth a sizeable amount and this itself is not factored into the cash that Scgm holds post the dividend payment

I see value in this proposition....just added more into my portfolio today. Just look at the volume done today...it cannot be wrong! Happy investing!

If the owner can make SCGM so successful now....why doubt that they cannot repeat this success in other business....hmmm! I definitely will buy more and keep.
