Permanis CEO new substantial shareholder in Multi Sports
A new substantial shareholder has emerged in Multi Sports Holdings Ltd, as Permanis Sdn Bhd’s chief executive officer (CEO) Erwin Selvarajah Peter Selvarajah purchased 5.85 million of its shares from the open market.
The China-based sports shoe soles manufacturer said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday, that Selvarajah had purchased the shares on September 18, 2015, bringing his total shareholdings in the company to 31.7 million shares, representing a 6.1 per cent stake.
Permanis is the manufacturer and distributor of the PepsiCo beverage franchise, which includes brands such as Pepsi, Mirinda, 7up, Revive Isotonic, Gatorade, Lipton, Tropicana and Evervess.
