Uchi Technologies Bhd is primarily an original design manufacturer (ODM) specializing in the design, research and development, and manufacture of electronic control systems such as software development, hardware design, and system construction. Its operating segments are Manufacturing, Trading and Investment holding. Manufacturing segment engages in making touchscreen advance display, high precision light measurement equipment, mixed-signal control system for centrifuge equipment, mixed-signal microprocessor-based application, system integration products and electronic modules. The trading segment includes trading of an electric module and saturated paper for PCB lamination. Investment holding segment includes management services. The company earns most of its revenue from Europe region.

How to be entitled
To be entitled for any of the above, you need to purchase the shares one trading day before the ex-Date. You will not be entitled for the above if you purchase the shares on or after the ex-Date.

On ex-Date, the price will be adjusted to reflect the theoretical market price of the stock after the entitlement. You can sell the shares on / after ex-Date and still be entitled to the corporate exercise. The key is to purchase the shares before ex-Date.
