By the time you get the Right shares into your account the market price already drop below 13 cents. So more losses to you instead of selling your Netx before 25 to 1 at 1.5 cents to book 50% gain you are now going to loss more

I think raider strategy is quite sound & safe.

My analysis are as follows;

He has taken into account of the 25 to 1 consolidation, that will render all the existing shareholders of netx to lose monies including the major shareholders.

He has subscribe for the very generous rights issue with warrants & has applied for additional enormous excess rights issue .

If market fear NETX & do not subscribe for the rights issue bcos of weaknesses in NETX share price, i think Raider will hit his jackpot.

Conclusion I think Raider investment plan on NETX is very well thought of & quite sound.

Sometime you need to be unconventional like Raider to make it big in the market.

Guys , allow me to shares my views on Netx...Netx shares outstanding was appro. % billion shares and the consolidation reduce it to appro..200 million and if the operate want to push it they can...but that not what in their mind...

What are their plan :

a. Keep the price close to 13 cts to discourage investors to subsribe for it thus undersubscription and they will mope up the diff.

b. If my view is correct, they will start pushing tomorrow till the new rights shares to be listed . Lot of Sohai will chase and get burned .

c. If my take is correct, expect the shares to go up from tomorrow . Do not expect the shares to close higher that 15cts likely 14.5cts...

Let wait and watch the show...Raider will be laughing against the Naysayers , .....

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 6): Digital Banking holds a promising future in Malaysia and the journey towards establishing digital banks will become a reality with the digital transformation in the Malaysian financial landscape.

The Ministry of Finance (MoF), in its Economic Outlook 2021 report released today, said a digital bank is essentially a virtual bank which operates in a digital environment and is devoid of brick-and-mortar presence of a traditional bank.

However, it said digital banks would offer similar services to that of traditional banks, such as savings and current accounts, withdrawals and transfers, and as such, is expected to revolutionise the financial landscape by offering financial services through digital and automated platforms.

It said currently, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, South Africa, Taiwan, the Philippines, the UK, and the US have established their own digital banks while Singapore is expected to issue its digital bank licences in 2020.

“Meanwhile, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) is at the stage of finalising the updated Exposure Draft on Licensing Framework for Digital Banks issued on March 3, 2020.

“With this development, Malaysia looks forward to establish several digital banks in the near future, the way for a more vibrant financial services landscape,” it said.

The MoF said the establishment of an effective regulatory ecosystem for digital banks in Malaysia is still in progress with the updated draft by BNM on March 3, 2020 having proposed a balanced approach to enable the admission of digital banks, with strong value propositions while safeguarding the integrity and stability of the financial system.

It said through the framework, up to five licences might be issued subjected to the applicants' ability to meet the requirements of the Financial Services Act 2013 and the Islamic Financial Services Act 2013.

The Ministry said the journey towards the establishment of digital banks is an expected progression in the Malaysian financial market as the country evolves into a digital economy.

It said for the transformation to materialise, a whole new wave of digital products and solutions must be in place, supported by a robust regulatory ecosystem, innovative technology and cultural adaptation to accelerate economic growth and financial inclusion in Malaysia.

Furthermore, it said the COVID-19 pandemic, which has accelerated remote and contactless transactions, also provides the impetus for the establishment of digital banks.

On the other hand, it said the road towards digital banks also requires digital transformation, mastering new skills, adopting new processes, and changing the way business is being done.

Thus, it said all interested parties need to reform their business models and culture and emphasise innovation as well as greater adoption of big data analytics to create a customer-centric orientation.

The Ministry said the transition to digital banks may not be straightforward and could disrupt financial services.

Traditional banks, it said, may also form new ventures and apply for a digital bank licence as part of efforts to reform their business model of which the model must also cater to the underserved and unserved segments of society such as low-income individuals, early income millennials, start-ups, as well as small and medium enterprises.

But Raider overall cost amounting to = Rm 175k

Raider overall profit is cool Rm 76k

The unique part is raider only spend Rm 500 to get next & even consolidated Raider make a loss of Rm 250.

But Raider can easily make back Rm 76k from this exercise loh...!!

At 1 sen before consolidation, the market cap of Netx was 52 million

It raised 80 million through its recent rights issue.

Here are some important lessons one can learn from the Rights issue of NetX.

Lesson 1:

Today, at 11 sen, post consolidation and RI, its market cap is 92.33 million.

The original holders of NetX shares at 1 sen per share (before consolidation) has lost 56% today.

If the original NetX shareholders have subscribed to all the rights issue, they would have lost even more today.

Lesson 2:

Today, its market cap is 92.33 m

It raised 80 m through RI.

Thus, we can say that prior to the consolidation and RI, Netx at 1 sen per share (or 52 m market cap) was SEVERELY OVERVALUED. Rightly, the company has been repriced and this initial 52 m is now valued at 12.33 m in its present market cap and shrinking still.

Lesson 3:

cheap valuation , margin of safety is big. mgmt buyout to ensure top mgmt interests are in tandem with shareholders

Why bcos big margin of safety mah & great prospect loh...!!
Very fundamental type of approach loh...!!

It is long term strategic by designed mah...!! Investing in Netx can be longterm whereas investing Insas-w very short term, it has to be short term bcos it has very short expiry date mah..!!
