Following the Movement Control Order ("MCO") for the period from 18 March 2020 to 12 May 2020 and Conditional MCO from 13 May 2020 to 9 June 2020 as implemented by the Government to contain the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") had vide its letter dated 16 April 2020 granted an extension of time until 30 June 2020 for listed issuers to issue their quarterly reports which are due by 31 May 2020.



In consideration of the difficulties in preparing the quarterly report during such period, the Board of Directors of NVB wishes to inform that NVB will utilise the extension of time granted by Bursa Securities and will ensure that the quarterly report is issued latest by 30 June 2020.



This announcement is dated 22 May 2020.

Notion VTec Bhd

Notion Vtec, a supplier of high quality and precision machined components for the automotive, hard disk drive and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) segments, has decided to venture into the manufacturing of face masks, as well as the production of components for medical ventilators.

Executive chairman Thoo Chow Fah says Notion is expecting to produce 150 million pieces of three-ply surgical face masks per year, with annual sales estimated at more than RM100 million.

“The ventilator components are expected to garner sales of RM10 million to RM15 million over the next two months,” he tells The Edge.

For its first financial quarter ended Dec 31, 2019 (1QFY2020), Notion Vtec made a net profit of RM14.17 million against a net loss of RM2.17 million a year ago, largely owing to a business interruption loss insurance settlement arising from a fire that occurred at its facility in 2017.

Revenue for 1QFY2020 increased 11% to RM70.34 million on higher contribution from its EMS segment.

Notion Vtec closed at 81 sen last Wednesday, which translates into a market capitalisation of RM274.37 million. Compared with a year ago, its share price has appreciated 41%.

（吉隆坡18日讯）因应2019冠状病毒病推高个人防护装备（PPE）需求，诺申集团（NOTION，0083，主板科技股）决定进军医疗保健领域，生产与销售PPE产品。

诺申该集团向交易所报备，集团将涉足生产与销售PPE产品，包括医疗呼吸机相关零件。



该集团现有核心业务为精密加工零件供应，并称未来也会继续专注该业务。

PPE产品的生产将遵照国际组织标准，目前现正等待相关机构批准，预计下月可开始进行生产，产品将在本地市场出售；该集团已下单订购生产机械。

另外，该集团会通过内部资金来成立新业务，估计不会大幅影响负债率，并能提振本财年盈利和每股净资产。

诺申集团指出，过去多年在精密加工零件与其他相关产品方面，已建立起良好记录与专业知识，因此相信集团有能力缩小风险。

From my chart, I can see clearly Notion is still uptrend and okay to hold. As didi2005 mentioned, QR also postponed until end of June. That's mean price can go up within June. My Target price is 0.915.

ytd buy 0.79... reach 0.82 also holding normally will take profit even its RM 20K, but maybe greedy, TP set to 0.84...
ytd cannot sell, today drop till 0.78...
rebound a bit but didn't manage to sell.
then see other counter moving and better opportunity cost, sold back at 0.79...
lucky move to the counter, terus earn RM 60K.
sometimes need to take action fast.
but anyhow I will still monitor Notion. Good luck all

If not mistaken, simply buying and holding Supermax Call Warrants, e.g; CW 88, can make that amount by buying 20 to 30 lots.It went up almost a ringgit every day. !!

Another way is buying MFCB Call warrant, CH. dropped to below 10 cents, and now at 32 cents, maturing in August.Triple profit.

Despite what people may say, logically thinking, you can make that amount by hoping on Careplus or Top Glove as their coming results will be bullish.

Adventa, without surgical gloves can go limit up ? Ruberex with lower production than Careplus, 1 bil, can reach 3.50.!!,

Careplus only 1.40 with 4.1 bil production !!

Notion VTec goes into healthcare

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the new business would be in addition to the group’s core business of supplying high quality and precision-machined components.

PETALING JAYA: Notion VTEC Bhd (NVB) will be venturing into the production, including the sales and marketing, of personal protective equipment, as well as the production of components related to medical ventilators in light of the Covid-19 outbreak and increasing demand for these products in the healthcare industry.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the new business would be in addition to the group’s core business of supplying high quality and precision-machined components.

“The company has placed orders for the production machinery. Subject to the approval being obtained from all the relevant authorities, the production is expected to be commenced by the end of May 2020 in the company’s main factory, ” NVB said.

The products would be sold in local markets, it noted.

“The new business is expected to have a positive impact on the earnings and net asset per share of the group for the financial year ending Sept 30,2020, ” NVB said.

The company’s shares rose four sen yesterday to close at 74.5 sen.
