全球数据储存需求持续急涨，让多年来士气低落的硬盘驱动器（HDD）市场响起反攻号角。人工智能（AI）快速崛起，加上连续技术突破，HDD正成为未来资料储存的关键支柱之一，开始供不应求，引起强烈关注。

为此，本期《股海捞月》要谈谈马股HDD零件供应巨头——JCY国际（JCY,5161,主机板科技组），看看这家多年来一直坚守市场岗位的科技公司，是否守得云开见月明。

最大HDD机械零件供应商
成立于1994年的JCY国际，起初是为HDD市场提供组装电路板（PCBA）服务，但顺着领域当时的高成长，开始积极强化服务范畴与能力，短短5年内陆续涉足CNC精密加工、压铸（Die Casting）、电泳涂层（E-Coating）和冲压服务，与国际HDD巨擘建立紧密合作关系，成为全球最大HDD机械零件供应商之一。

2010年
东南亚最大宗科技上市案
受惠于HDD出货量强劲成长，该公司生意蒸蒸日上，后来进一步前往中国和泰国设厂。2010年，JCY国际以超过17亿令吉年营业额和2亿令吉净利在马股华丽登场，上市估值超过30亿令吉，是当时东南亚最大宗科技上市案。

然而随科技转变，固态硬盘（SDD）的崛起开始侵蚀HDD市占率，这在科技消费市场尤其明显，出货量逐年下滑，让坚守HDD业务的JCY国际这些年吃尽苦头，业绩连连败退，股价也屡创新低。

不过，HDD的长期颓势正发生重大转折。因AI崛起速度超越预期，加上储存技术突破，业界人士开始判断HDD领域或从2024年起进入新一轮成长周期，让作为最大零件供应商的JCY国际重获市场关注。

过去一年火速成为全球焦点的AI大大提振了全球资料储存的预期需求。感受大趋势来袭，被视为数字世界核心基石的数据中心，正快速崛起成最吸金的商业项目。

根据投资、贸易与工业部（MITI）上个月披露的数据，我国在2021至2023年期间批准的1447亿令吉数字相关投资中，竟然有高达1147亿令吉是数据中心投资。全球层面来看，去年数据中心相关投资已突破2500亿美元，英国独立科技分析机构NSR估计，在AI引领下，这数额最快或于2027年突破每年一兆美元。

受投资暴增刺激，数据储存设施的未来需求势必异常强劲，各调查与分析机构估计未来6至8年内，全球数据储存市场可取得介于17至26％的年均复合成长（CAGR）。无论是HDD或是SSD，都将因而开启新一轮领域上升周期。

HDD和SSD之间虽是竞争关系，但因两者各自拥有难以撼动优势，相信未来会被互补使用，更快更稳的SSD将用于资料应用，如AI学习模型，成本优势明显的HDD则用于原始资料储存或资料库。

相比SSD HDD占成本优势
换句话说，未来几年资料中心料由HDD主导，毕竟其每太字节（TB）成本远比SSD便宜7至8倍，让投资成本昂贵的数据中心没什么选择余地，毕竟在SSD技术提升之际，HDD技术也持续精进，不断突破容量极限，成本优势在可预见的未来内仍牢不可破。

优化营运规模结构
鉴于需求高于预期，加上产能无法赶上，数据储存市场已出现供不应求讯号，HDD和SSD的平均售价近期持续走高，数据显示单是从去年第四季至今年第一季，HDD平均售价上涨了14％，创近25年以来新高，3大HDD巨头皆在不久前宣布涨价，且预期还会继续调涨。

HDD领域经多年低迷巩固，目前已形成三强鼎立局面，由3大巨头瓜分整个市场，分别是威腾（WD）、希捷（Seagate）和东芝（Toshiba）。受展望强劲提振，威腾股价过去一年来已急涨92％，希捷也上扬55％。

至于零件供应市场，根据肯纳格研究在2020年发布的报告，零件供应链原本拥有至少10至12家业者，但经多年巩固后已锐减剩2至3家，而JCY国际正是其中之一。

上个月发布的最新业绩已释出乐观讯号。截至2024年3月31日第二季，JCY国际营业额按年成长40.7％，至1亿4714万令吉，且开始转亏为盈，报净利534万令吉。

下半年料更胜上半年
最新业绩虽不算特别抢眼，但管理层揭露首季HDD市场总出货单位按季成长3％，储存产能出货则按季成长22％，已连续两季成长。就现有市场趋势而言，产能使用率料在客户出货量走高带动下回升，下半年表现料更胜上半年。

这些年来为应付市场逆境，JCY国际不断优化营运规模和结构，力求各环节精益求精，明显提升营运效率和竞争力，让公司在次季产能使用率不足50％的苛刻条件下录取盈利，这尤其值得注意，反映了强大内部生产力，一旦产能使用率明显回升，业绩或将捎来惊喜。

财务状况保持良好，目前持有近亿令吉净现金，营运现金流亦明显改善，若业绩如愿迎来强劲且可持续的复苏，派息或是中期内可期待的事，毕竟该公司有着慷慨派息记录，2010至2017年间每季皆派息，直到后来业务陷入亏损才被迫停止。

多元化产品供应组合
为加速公司复苏，JCY国际正积极寻求多元化和强化产品供应组合，2023年报资料显示公司手上有26种新产品正处于不同阶段的洽谈和认证，放眼进一步强化市场份额。另外在通过客户认证后，已从去年杪开始为高端HDD市场供应零件，且会继续与客户紧密合作，凭公司卓越工艺和品质继续深耕这个双位数增长中的潜能板块。

除了继续在HDD零件市场企于有利位置，公司也在不同领域发掘新机会，包括在2020年收购了汽车零件生产商SDM精密铸造，虽然这业务贡献比重目前仍低，但凭公司在金属压铸方面的强大能力，新业务规模正在壮大，去年营业额全年激增340％，远景值得期待。

虽说JCY国际长久以来专注在HDD零件市场，然而作为一家垂直综合了强大模具制造、压铸、精密加工和涂层能力的金属零件供应商，其强大核心能力、设施与技术其实能应用在许多领域，实现多元化料只是时间上的问题。

总的来说，AI快速崛起大大刺激了资料储存领域发展，让HDD重返辉煌时刻。随着竞争对手这些年陆续倒下或转换跑道，竞争力强大、始终坚守HDD零件市场的JCY国际料获得回报，加上产品组合持续扩大和多元化，一切正迅速朝好的方向发展，用“否极泰来”形容合适不过。5月组合回酬企稳10.5％
马股5月表现强稳，组合回酬稳定在10.5％。

期间，3家公司最新季报表现强稳，最值得注意的是3A资源，最新季报显示赚幅持续改善，还意外宣布派息1仙，是打从2010年以来首次在11月以外时间点派息，不排除派息政策酝酿正面变动。

另外，鉴于HDD市场进入强劲周期，长期与领域巨头合作愉快的JCY国际料来到重大转折点，复苏展望强劲，投资主题诱人，决定纳入组合中。
