Gold price surged unexpectedly even before Trump escalated trade war tension to force Powell to release more future rate cuts statement.

If US Fed has no more rate cut in sight, gold price is hard to go up further.

Even the gold price is good, this company doesn't seem to appreciate the public to use its share price as a tool for hedging.

The most important factor is the production figure, not so much of gold price. From 1400 to 1500, it's only increase of 7%. 7% of last qtr 8 million profit is only an increase of 560000. Look at the production figure for last 3 months: from 76 kg down to 54 Kg and then 29 Kg. What the hell is happening? No explanation whatsoever. Now worse still, no more monthly reporting. It's all up to LFM what quantity to report at the next quarter. This is becoming like Chinaman company

If the prospect is good, especially given the high gold price and this is the only gold producing stock, it should attract genuine investors like fund managers and institutional investors that won't throw unless there's a change in fundamental. They are not interested simply because they are not convinced with the production figures. So LFM has no choice but to goreng the ikan bilis

Not reporting the mthly production figure is is a negative step backward and lacking transparency. For good corporate practice and investor update, the Co should seriously consider continuing current mthly reporting. Not reporting it could mean the management is hiding information of production and could subject to manipilation of production quantities as the Co has 3 mths to manage the qty to report.

Hi Pussycats, Bahvest 1st ever monthly announcement was in September 2018 at 6 kgs. So it was for work done in August. So most probably they started in July or August 2018. Cheers :)
