@Cslee1215....I think those fund waiting to buy into banks are still cautious on 2 things :

1) The 2Q21 report, will banks declare dividend or not. Last year many didn't for 2nd Q.

2) The direction of new cabinet on moratorium interest.

Let me explain:
Stkoay claims he has 300k shares of PBB and 300k shares of MBB, Some people dont believe him. I told stkoay he need not prove it , and stkoays is being sarcastic like Anwar claims numbers but does not match.. stkoay can prove his ownership to us without revealing any private info in a simple way.

how? he palces sell order at 2.00 pm at the lowest price and he tell us the number before doing so.. that proves he really that many shares.I told him he needs not prove it to me as I believe him.

If u dont believe him, u can ask him to prove it.... cos I think he is not anwar kind of people, cos there is strength in his words.

Futhermore they want to keep the price down , so that they can collect and get a lower DRIP price, so everyone wins, esp the big funds like epf... stkoay gets 10k free lots, epf gets 1000 mil free lots.. while i get only a few lots

If both MBB and PBB declare dividend, then the difference will be wider, I guess...

I still believe PBB is being main by EPF and only pushing the price down to get cheap Foreign funds which entered pre Bonus at RM24-25... give it some time.
My protfolio shows MBB is leading with 2% margin... due to my entry price being lower in PBB than MBB.


Wait for qr & div declaration ( u do know div depends on Bank Negara , right?)

Yes, I think now need to wait for 2Q21 report...if dividend is declared..then will buy what ever price with my balance allocation....guess will probably need to pay a lot more :(

MBB yields at 6-7%....PBB only yields 3-4%

Haha....poor mathematics....

With RM8170 you get 1000 MBB...MBB pays 52 sen last year and 64 sen the previous year...so you will probably get 520 to 640.

PBB used to pay about 70 sen before bonus issue....meaning they will now pay about 14 sen.....with 2073 shares, you will get 290.

Is 290 the same as 520....haha.

with this kind of poor maths...how to invest in shares...haha :)

MBB @8.17 gets 12,240
PBB @3.94 gets 25,380

We check end of day price position after 1)qr and 2)after ex date ( assume sell on both datesm so it will incl capital appreciation and div)
