Now is simply not the right time to buy bank stocks, with impending double dip recession.
Bank earning growth and asset quality is deteriorating fast currently.
Buying bank stocks at current price level will guarrantee you poor return over the next 10 years.
Don't worry, I will buy on dip when timing is right, now is not the right time.

1. Keep accumulating on every dip.
2. Keep for at least 7 years (20 years is better ).

Not buy sell buy sell ya... Warren Buffet never short sells his stocks too.

i agree with screwdriver view. With low opr of 1.75 (may further drop to 1.5 tomorrow), how banks going to post good result? Furthermore mco in whole country hurts economy. Also pbbank price of nearly rm21 is already high..(The price of pbbank before bonus issue announcement is only at around 18). No point i take risk to buy at high place then say it will give back double returns after 10 years.

If EPF holds 15+ % in PBB, PBB MUST BE A GREAT SHARE.
Think it over, don't condemn, don't scare.
If we condemn glove, you will react the same as us,

Actually banks has declined with OPR reduction news, so it should be factored in. If no OPR reduction, it should trend up. Without this news, PBB would be at 23 already.
