Smart ppl looks around, study the market prospects! We hv COVID-19, new type of coronavirus, now mutated, despite after embracing and study the virus for one year, we don’t hv a cure for COVID-19! Vaccine is manufactured based on new type of technology, beyond the conventional way of vaccine R&D! You think you can win the race against COVID-19 related economic recession?! I doubt it! Malaysia government yet to buy enough vaccine for you all as for now! Date of vaccination also uncertain. Even the vaccine arrived, I believe some may not agree to be vaccinated due to worry of vaccine side effect etc! This COVID-19 war is just the beginning, not the end, the worst yet to come! Mark my words on this!

But maybank.was rm7 n now rm 7.82??

It was RM17 when the gloves making companies fared not that well anymore...

Looking back as far as one month ago, PBB price was even at RM22 a share,

One Share (RM22) became 5 shares at RM4.40 each is no Bonus in deed.
Is a sub-division Exercise of the shares.

When the company pay dividends mean the cash balances of the Company will be reduced as much as the payout amount. The accumulated the profits , hence paying the loyal shareholders.

Bonus Issue is supposed to be the Company distributing shares from the shares accumulated (via buying from the open market) instead of issuing new shares causing ballooning effect on the Issued Shares.

Rightly, it is not a BI buy should be called Sub-division of shares, so the public can buy more frequently due the adjusted downward price.

If retailers with 1mil coming into market. He die die hv to usher them to glove or vaccine.
If that retailer come PBBank, he has 1 less retailer to push glove and vaccine up.

For me, I hv both healthcare and finance. Start selling what's over priced and collecting stuff under value. Like tenaga, PB, or Maybank. Imagine DPS back to 2018 and 2019 average with current entry price. That's 10% dividend for the rest of ur life. It's something good to have in ur portfolio.

Gloves earnings is quite clear for next 9-18months. But it's not forever.
PBank earnings is 1.8B since forever and it's gonna be forever. I tot pandemic is gonna hurt it's earnings. Blardy fool. It hardly made a dent. This Teh Hiong Piow, dunno what kinda along. This kinda time, no default one mer? Their debtors so geng? Or they sell blood to pay debts?

Very soon, economy opening up, wait for ann., slow & steady trade will recover, more money moving, domestic & int'l trade picking up, higher consumer spending, positive qtr results.
Growth will be choppy & undulating but will definitely accelerate up in 2nd qtr. Momentum and pace will quicken and accelerate even faster in 3rd qtr.
Banking sector will enjoy positive rerating and PBB will see its stock price going forward, upward, and higher. It will be quite a rise in price.

For comparison purposes, smaller, less competitive, and lower profitable banks are currently priced between $3 to $7 a share. So, do yr math and determine where PBB lies in this price range going forward. Definitely, it will be closer to the latter. Big funds will push as they are the first to read the economy and mkt, then buy and push, & finally trade and profit.
It is simple as a, b, c. Act, Buy, Cash-out when you gain decent profits fr PBB.
Almost all who invest in PBB make much more money over the long term. Hope you make money.

26/1 RSS on PBB Total Short Selling Value-RM26,104,412 Vol-5,817,800. So was it done on Tue 26/1 itself or Mon 25/1 and only reported on 26/1?. Very confused with Bursa reporting format cause in Net Short Position there is no PBB as at 26/1.

RSS also done on MBB since 19/1 until 26/1 but in the Net Short Position, no MBB was ever listed there as at 26/1?. The figures just do not tally
