Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, who is also the Coordinating Minister of National Recovery Plan (NRP), announced that the government will be using the daily number of ‘symptomatic hospital admission cases’ in Category 3, 4 and 5 as a new threshold indicator.

The daily number of ‘symptomatic hospital admission cases’ will replace the daily number of confirmed Covid-19 cases as the indicator when more than half of the adult population in the states that are in the NPR Phase One are fully inoculated.

@ Maxsuper dont be a prophet of doom. We have enough of negative news everyday with daily deaths of 250-360 akin to a plane crash everyday. Instead just sprinkle abit of good cheer to lift up everyone from this rot engulfing us now. Be in good spirits that the vaccination will make a turnaround when everyone got their doses to be in control of the virus n the economy slowly accelerating forward. As an investor we need to step out in faith for the golden years to be back in action. In the meantime just wait n have a peaceful time.

Vaccines may not totally prevent you from getting Delta variant BUT they stop you from ICU and ventilator AND death. Seriously when as many people are vaccinated it will stop variants from forming in the future.

So far, persons I know who have been vaccinated and infected with covid in KL Valley, all recovered after mild illness. One without vaccine really sick but also recovering. Just to check with you all, I need to confirm that the vaccines are really work. Hope to hear some sincere feedbacks. I already fully vaccinated. Thanks in advance.

Btw, the delta variant in Australia since June had resulted in 29 deaths. There were young and old. Only one deceased had a jab in May, the rest not vaccinated at all. A young man aged 27 and a young woman aged 38 died before their vaccination appointed date. The rest were over fifty and not vaccinated. Sad for the families who are also I infected.

With Delta strain being much more infectious than the Wuhan strain, it is most likely that everyone in the same household is as infectious as each other, ie when one gets it, it’ll be passed on to the others in the same family.

30% good antibodies lifetime effect
30% moderate antibodies lasting a year or so

20% to 30% short antibodies that fade away less than a year
10% to 20% zero antibodies

The death rates are from the last group of people with zero antibodies

It is fear of the unknown future that enhances mental illness. So on a positive note from research up to date:

Thankfully studies suggest that the currently available vaccines remain protective. We have learned during the pandemic that things can change quickly, so controlling spread of COVID-19 in general will help manage Delta and other variants.

As long as there is uncontrolled spread of SARS-CoV-2, we will see more variants in the future.

The only way out is widespread vaccination to control spread and prevent further mutation of SARS-CoV-2.

My experience with Covid-19

4 ladies staying in the same house, all infected with Covid-19
Out of the four ladies, only 1 not vaccinated while the rest fully vaccinated with 2nd dosed.

The one not vaccinated quite seriously ill while the rest only experienced mild symptoms
