I believe it's compounded by speculators trying to ride on a possible "post-election surge". This was encouraged by some investment bank analysts last week, and before the state election. If only it's that simple! When everyone else had the same idea too, who is left to buy and chase up the price? The quarter results are very poor, of course. But this has more to with disappointment. Plus panic when it was obvious the hoped-for post-election wasn't coming.

That style of playing is reminiscent of the 1980s & 90s. It is bound to fail today as the internet has made the playing field level a bit. Ppl now can glance at the charts to see for themselves whether it is worth risking their $$$. As early as Feb when CMSB was trading in the range of 5.00 - 5.16, the charts have already indicated weakness ahead.

A point to suggest BN machineries even though they have won more state's seat in Sarawak , however a point to ponder the financial status of the government at hand with its long termed indebtedness and corrupt practices have failed miserably to finance projects that has promised to the people that leads to CMSB share price continued to free fall despite as the main suppliers of cement to pan malaysia borneo highway .
