Magic formula investing is a term referring to an investment technique outlined by Joel Greenblatt that uses the principles of value investing.
Greenblatt suggests purchasing 30 'good companies': cheap stocks with a high earnings yield and a high return on capital. He touts the success of his magic formula in his book 'The Little Book that Beats the Market', Joel Greenblatt, citing that it does in fact beat the S&P 500 96% of the time, and has averaged a 17-year annual return of 30.8%

KSL is a good counter but most of their project is in Johor & recently they launch mostly high rise, projects & those high rise sales is very very slow, with revenue drop, profit drop how do you expect the share price to go up, what fair value or graham number also useless, if you have holding power than can buy, but for how long..... at least above 1 years.
doesn't matter.....to appreciate more then 100% is so much better than anything....tell me which bank can give this kind of return......wait lah...why worry?
buy when ppl fear..do opposite and surely u will win in the long term..now everyone is rushing to steel & construction, but is the time to sell for these 2 sectors...

This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
