Hi guys,

I woke up this morning in Singapore and read this in horror

"People may call me a pessimist, but I feel that Malaysia has reached the point of no return"
-------Tan Teng Boo

If only he took time to do deeper research he should be able to find bargains in good O&G stocks which are now making 200% to 300% for those who took position

If he really believe that Malaysia is a gone case without hope then he should just close down Icapbiz funds & return all monies to shareholders just like Warren Buffet did by closing down his fund in year 1969.

YOUR BEST COURSE OF ACTION TODAY IS TO SELL AWAY YOUR LAST REMAINING ICAPBIZ SHARES AND DON'T LOOK BACK ANYMORE ON THIS MAN WITHOUT HOPE.

NOW GO BUY DESTINI (7212) WHILE THERE IS HIGH HOPE

1) MINISTER OF FINANCE (MOF) BOUGHT 200 MILLION DESTINI SHARES AND IS TOP HOLDER

2) BRAHMAL OF CREADOR FUND BOUGHT 10 MILLION DESTINI SHARES

3) TOP BOSS OF DESTINI ALSO BOUGHT DESTINI AS HIGH AS 71 SEN TO 85 SEN

SO CALVIN INVITES YOU TO LEAVE THIS DREARY PLACE AND BUY DESTINI TODAY!!

Don't listen to him TTB, please go ahead and continue collecting your asset management fees. You need every cent of it.

As they say,

Those who don't know how to stock pick,
Teach others to stick pick.
Those who can't teach, they write newsletters.
Those who can't write well, they just take director fees.

At best, can icap closed end fund achieve a NAV of $4.00 in 2020? At least with NAV of $4.00 in 2020, it would have grown its NAV from 2005 at a compound annual rate of just slightly below 10%.

========

statistics depends on stating point and ending point of statistics....what about statistics of last 10 years? Probably negative.......lol.......

close ended fund fails compared to open ended funds because open ended funds can always exit at NTA while close ended funds always exit at a discount.

thing is, nowadays, left very very very few people who still care about what TTTB said. His biggest personal reputation fault was his investment judgement in past 5 years or so. He forgot to learn, unlike Buffett who continues to learn every single day. Huge gap between them.

Anyone knows if ICAP is still holding Boustead shares?
ICAP is going to suffer badly if they refuse to offload them, like how the deadwood Parkson did.
ICAP was good in its earlier years, and if they could just replicate that, exciting times would await in future.

Last time before 1 weeks HOMERIZ announce quarter report, TTB recommend to buy HOMERIZ below 0.65, we all know quarter report result will not so good due to USD. But do you know what happen then? After quarter report come out, after 1 week, he rerating and remove HOMERIZ completely from Malaysia Company Analysis. HAHAHAHA. He even don't know effect of USD for that quarter? What a shame some more remove it just after 2 weeks after recommend to buy. HAHAHAHAHA. Stock price up keep remain at Malaysia Company Analysis, stock price down quicly remove it from Malaysia Company Analysis? Like exam, 50 objection question, you correct 30 question, you should get 60 point, but for TTB, another incorrect 20 question cannot count, so he actually get 100 point. HAHAHAHAHA. He always compare NAV ICAP with KLSE, but if you actually add KLSE dividend to it, because ICAP no distribute dividend, do ICAP really beat KLSE? Only TTB beat KLSE, all investor lose

Btw, not sure if it's a wise move of icapital.biz to dispose all F&N shares. F&N is one hella solid stock which has proven earnings.

ATTENTION ICAPPED ZOMBIES IN ICAPBIZ

IF YOU CAN HAVE THE WILL POWER TO ESCAPE FROM THE CLUTCHES

READ THIS THEN SELL ALL ICAPBIZ AND SWITCH TO MBSB BANK

A brief look at this quarter balance sheet of MBSB Bank

1) Deposits from Customers & Institutions increased by Rm4 Billions due to promotion with Cash prizes of Rm2 millions by lucky draws

2) At Rm2 millions small cost to get Rm4 Billions fresh funds is about 0.005%
THIS LOW COST INNOVATION HAS GREATLY INCREASED THE LOW COST OF CAPITAL
VERY GOOD STRATEGIC MOVE!

3) LOW COST OF FUNDS WITH HIGH COST OF LENDING WILL SEPARATE ITS PERFORMANCE WITH OTHER TIER 1 BANKS FROM NOW ONWARD

4) ISLAMIC LOAN GROWTH AT OVER 10% AS COMPARED WITH SATURATION OF CONVENTIONAL LOAN RATE OF 3% IS 300% MORE BY PERCENTAGE

THIS SHOWS THE EXPLOSIVE GROWTH OF ISLAMIC BANKING

5) WITH SO MUCH BUSINESS AND POTENTIAL FOR PROFITS DIRECTORS' FEES ONLY RM800,000

AND THEY MANAGED 47 FULL FLEDGED MBSB BANK BRANCHES IN BOTH WEST AND EAST MALAYSIA

6) MANAGING MORE THAN RM30 BILLIONS IN CAPITAL THEY ONLY TAKE A MERE RM800K SALARY?

THIS IS CHEAP LABOUR.

7) MBSB BANK VERSUS ICAPBIZ

In contrast with DIRECTORS OF MBSB BANK TAKING A SMALL RM800K MANAGING 47 BANK BRANCHES TAN TENG BOO OF ICAPBIZ TOOK A RM8.6 MILLIONS PROFESSIONAL FEES MANAGING ABOUT A DOZEN STOCKS - AND THAT PASSIVELY

AT RM8.6 MILLIONS THAT IS ABOUT 62% OF THE TOTAL PROFITS OF ICAPBIZ

TTB takes 10 Times more monies (Rm8.6 Millions) than Directors of MBSB Bank (Rm800K) but only managed a small portfolio of stocks passively which MBSB BANK DIRECTORS ARE BUSILY TRANSFORMING 47 MBSB INTO FULL FLEDGED ISLAMIC BANKS

JUST SEE THE STARK DIFFERENCE OF ZOMBIES IN STUPOR IN ICAPBIZ BEING ROBBED!

8) THIS SHOWS AN OUTSTANDING COMPANY AND AN EQUALLY OUTSTANDING MANAGEMENT IN MBSB BANK

MBSB?

MBSB = Must Buy Safe Bank

Remember these facts

Icapbiz Ttb gets rm8. 6 millions in fees managing a dozen stocks passively while mbsb bank directors only get rm800k managing 47 mbsb banks actively and hands on

Icapbiz gives zero dividends to shareholders as Ttb already taken 62% of the profit

Mbsb bank is able to give a 6% dividend currently and even more in coming years as profits expected to up after it turned into full fledge bank

So best time to switch out of icapbiz into the safety of capital protection and preservation in mbsb bank

See the difference

1. Icapbiz has about 12 stocks (all passive investments. Nothing to do at all after buying)

2. Mbsb bank has 47 branches doing real business. Now refurbishing from Asia Finance Bank to Mbsb Bank. Lots and lots of avtive work

3. Ttb fees is a whopping Rm8. 6 millions while share price languishing
A more honest fund manager like Walter Schloss won't even charge a fee if fund not performing

4. Mbsb bank directors only took a combined fees of rm800k managing a bank with over rm30 billions fund

5. Ttb taking rm8. 6 millions equal to 62% income of icapiz doing very little

6. Mbsb bank bosses taking rm800k is peanut

7. Icapbiz will not be able to give dividend for the next 5 years as capital gain is siphoned off

8. Mbsb bank is able to give ever increasing dividend as Company expects to grow and grow while icapbiz stagnates

Your statement is wrong. The newsletter recommended homeritz in June 2018 and this counter was removed somewhere in Nov. what a shame to you that cannot get the facts correct before accusing people HAHAHAHA
Also, if you take out the dividend in FBMKLCI and compare it with icap share price, icap is way more ahead of FBMKLCI.

icapital.biz bhd operates like a fund. It has elements of Berkshire, where it doesn't pay dividends & focuses on long-term capital appreciation. icapital.biz's unique value investing methods has drawn much flak, due to a lack of exciting transactions, but it works.

How long is long term? 10 to 20 years, I suppose. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thus, fast & furious trading to generate huge profits in the shortest time doesn't apply here. icapital.biz is a boring, slow & steady way to wealth.

Not everyone's cup of tea, therefore "attracting the right shareowners is crucial".

@ahbah I can teach you 'fast & furious trading', but pay to play, I charge RM500/hour.

Alternatively, can just invest in ICAP and relax, can get annual return of 6.44%. Don't forget they are not just a company, but a fund which can tactically allocate their portfolio. Means they can significantly outperform the market in downturns.
