This is a good div earning company, last year was a very challenging year, but still paid an 80 sen dividend. This year's profit sure will be better, after deducing the rebate, installing the new meters and catch up gradually in RE business, can expect better dividend than last year. Let's wait and see...

As at 9:27am, less than 20 weak holders with amount of 2,000 to sell at RM9.40. Not enough for us trade up the price. Please sell us more to allow us to up price the price.

We hope we can buy another 1,000 at 9.98 .

this counter is not gonna dip below 10 for long because traders now all sexcited about Tenaga. (yield is even better than REITs and all at this price)

Nothing is impossible in stock trading. The smart money can bring down the price this morning and then they can also bring-up the price. After lunch, they will try to bring down the price again.

The smart money now see this counter as stock with many negative news particular longer MCO expected after Raya. So, heading to RM9.5 is possible but not today.

We hope we can bring down to RM 9.8 ++ after lunch today and hopefully we can reach RM9.5++ by next week. Furthermore, EPF expected to reduce their hold to less than 17% of this counter since many of their members withdraw their money for Raya . So, I believe smart money will be able to bring down the price.

Understand that there is difference between EARNINGS and EARNINGS AVAILABLE FOR DISTRIBUTION.

Earnings = Profit which included a lot of accounting adjustments and paper profits/(losses)

Distributable earnings = usually recurring cash incomes which the company has no immediate use for which will/can be fully paid out as dividends

Example:

Profit After Tax 100 million

But that 100 million was derived after deducting depreciation, tax charges, amortisation expenses, FRS 9 adjustments, foreign currency translation losses/(incomes) etc etc etc

Actual incomes in cash could be 110 million, 120 million or even 150 million.

So it can be perfectly acceptable for the company to pay more than 100 million as dividends.

Just did a calculation.

Taking past 3 years earnings, assuming 75% payout, you can get easily 50+ sen dividends

So that's min 5.0% dividend yield, if no special payouts
