Bsngpg, just out of curiosity.....the statement below is confusing. It says cut loss if price below rm1.40 ...but the price current is below that.....so what is he trying to say???

"The risk to reward is worth with it. The Cut lost point is the price drop and close below RM1.4 and the 1st TP will be RM1.8/2.00 and second TP will be RM3.3/3.4. "

I used to have......the problem was the surprised RTO with Albedo which caught a lot of investors. Without that, this situation wouldn't have happen. Reason is if they sold the lands in Iskandar instead of trying the RTO, the gearing would have been reduced and the only thing to wait for was Trops mall and plaza Dijaya sale to hit rm3. I believe with Iskandar land sale (if it did happen instead of RTO) the price would have been 2.20 and with the sale of the other 2 asset they would have hit 3. If u read the Cimb reports, the land bought in 2010 all appreciated tremendously but only if they sell....

Chua72, yes belong to Danny Tan and could have injected into Tropicana as asset and sold it from there. They did this same thing in 2012 when they injected their capital to prop up asset in Plaza Dijaya.

These assets they hold are like our own house....if we keep it long enough at good location, the appreciation maybe better than interest incurred provided they can get thru these tough period and develop later.or sell when the market is back at super peak for Landbank...

This counter can trap your money for yearsssss! becareful! Research reports have been yelling RM2.00-3.00 all the time -since few years ago, BUT IT DID NOT HAPPEN. Tan family needs cash, however; on willing basis if you choose to be trapped and can wait for DONKEY YEARS, then no one to blame except yourself.

YTD this is one of the worst performing property counters,... Maybe the research houses also scared to update or recommend this counter anymore... ..sigh.......simply a YTD hopeless counter ...worse than many other penny stocks....

You guys have force me to come out to talk. Aiya Mahsing lah, SPSetia lah.......let me tell you guys, Tropicana will fly soon. Trops is focus on North, Iskandar and Central this year. Central will be Tropicana Aman near Kota Kemuning. It will have to happen soon outside the Metropark which has almost completed the sales for Paloma selling Tower A. Remember they cannot afford to increase gearing now that OPR has been hike and they know that......and yet they have to launch Tropicana Aman ASAP for 2014. So in short a private placement will be happening very soon....mark my humble words...... Tropicana will definitely go above 1.85 very soon......eat this Mahsing and SPSetia......here I come ....kokokokokok

Hopefully can get at least breakeven as started bought in at rm1.58 on Apr'14 ..rm1.53...rm1.50..rm1.44 and last bought rm1.38 (each time 2~3 lots).

I did the same but with lower starting price than yours. Nevertheless, I am trapped in Trop too. Hopefully, this set of good result plus the proposed 4% div can push it up to where you first bought.
