And I do comment on others favorite stocks. Why? Am I "ke Po"? Maybe be. But tell you very very frankly, I worry for those newbies who don't know much about investment. Who am I to pass negative comments on others? True also but I don't simply pass negative comments. I give constructive comments with facts, not bullshit as some said. The two stocks which I comment quite a lot is KNM and Ivory. See now Ivory's price goes up, I am wrong. And some people starts to ridicule again. Yes I am wrong on the price movement which all the time I have said I won't know the price movement of any stock. I only comment based on fundamentals, fundamentals some people said is history. True also. But one thing I am very "pantang" is the credibility of the management. When management gives you a distorted picture about its financial statements, like Ivory does, it is a very dangerous company to invest in. Of course trading and punting is different lah. I fear to trade stocks like that because I know I often end up as the patsy when I gamble with them. Tell you the truth, there are many such companies in Bursa.

Despite all the negative comments on my comments, I am happy about posting, with good intentions, frankly. I am happy because many who ridicule me before agree with me eventually, and agree to disagree. And we happily become friends. Seriously I have very very little enemies in i3.

So for people who post their thoughts here, be ready to be criticize but don't be intimidated by them. No need to go away one if you are interested to share your things and make friends or business partners here.

I feel compelled to inform those who are participating in internet forums where the assumption is, free expression is permitted, that while you can say what you like, you bear responsibility that what you say is factual when you suggest that a person is a fraud, conman, lying cheating, etc.

Unless you can support your assertions with factual proof, I suggest you reconsider your behaviour in any internet forum. Anonymity cannot provide you immunity should the aggrieved feel that his reputation is damaged and decides to take legal action against you.

It does not matter if you will win or lose. You better have the funds to defend yourself. You are talking tens of thousands in legal fees.

There are many cases for you to see where recklessness comes with a price.

Rupert, I don't know who you are but from the statements you posted above, how can I jump on you? You are my friend man and I hope we can continue this way.

However it is not about me or you. That is petty. We should bring this to another level in humanity. We should not be making statements implying someone is cheating, or enticing you to buy so that he can sell you high, something which is morally wrong, unless we have concrete evidence and has actually cheated you. Frankly I don't see i3 has that kind of power to move the market.

Take for example, Ooi mentioned he is 100% sure KHSB would be offered to be taken private at 76 sen by 28/2/13. Do you expect him not have bought the shares at 50 sen, 60 sen etc? If he was so sure of his statements, does he have the responsibility to let others buy first before he bought?

The offer was actually announced at the last moment at that day. Was he cheating then? Before someone asked again how he got this insider information which is illegal, think about it, you think the confidentiality of insider information works in Bursa? What ever transactions he made after the announcement, if he sold any or bought back any, why should we bother? Even if he posted that it was a good buy at say 70 sen but if he sold at 66 sen, it is his business. I have posted my valuation of stocks, say when I said the intrinsic value of a stock is 4.00, I have sold many times at 2.00, 2.30 and bought back at 1.90 or even 2.40. That was because my fingers touched on itchy powder. Can you say I cheated you?

As I have said, the offer for KHSB shares indeed had been made at the price mentioned. In fact the state government even mentioned that they would want to negotiate at a higher price. It is up to the two parties to sort it out. And this things takes time. but eventually what happen next is not Ooi's responsibility, is it? for heaven sake don't blame PKR for haven't got the deal sealed yet too. They are many things to sort out and yes there is likelihood that the deal may not go through, but I think the possibility of this happening (deal not done) is remote. Any how, one has to make his own decision.

So do you really have concrete and indisputable facts that Ooi cheat you? I don't know Ooi in person and no, I am not carrying balls like what someone has mentioned before, I see no evidence at all that he cheats anybody. Not only KHSB, not any other things too.

I feel that I have to say this thing because if someone being accused of cheating which I find no evidence of, it is not good in our culture.

Kcchong, firstly I never said OTB cheated me maybe Jacko did I don't know. All I said is I agreed with Jacko on his cut and paste and that I went thru the flow of the comments made by OTB and found it misleading info. He says he bought base on the price which he later said something else and some like investor77 bought at a higher price ie 67.5.
Now he countered by saying he is a trader. If so he should have admitted earlier he bought at 40 c so ppl do not think that it's safe to continue to buy at such high price and allow it to drop first.

Answer:
Overbought = sold
Oversold = buy

Trader style. Maximize profit.

Normal people:
0.76 - 0.65 (current buying price) = 0.12 gain

Trader:
0.67 - 0.65 = 0.02
sold at 0.67
overbought position
share price drop to 0.65
buy again at 0.65
reach 0.67
sell again = 0.02
share price drop to 0.63
oversold position
buy again at 0.63
overbought position at 0.66
sold share at 0.66 =0.03

See in between 0.67 and 0.63 trader can simply make more than 4 cents gain.
This is the difference between trader and investor.

this is not trade, this is gamble - bet on the few cents gap, minus contra fee, probably only 0.01c gain, NOT worth the risk, NOT worth the time. better think twice if buy shares with this pattern.

the 28/2/2013 lesson should not be forgotten, u can imagine whoever trade this pattern and falls on that day, one can lost 80% of his capital in one goal.

You are right. One does not simply try that without the knowledge of stock. But few cents gain method only apply to small fish. If the trading volumn is big, the maximum charges for trading is only RM 200, which one can simply earn more than that after deducting the RM 200, not to mention the saving of T+3 too.
