I admit I was dumb I didn't sell at 80c.... while my cost was about 50c.... I sold all at 66c and bought into YTL... and slowly buying back wb as I see the buying trend is back.... I have been accumulating since 66.5c.... so my average cost is about 68.5c at the moment... by end of today maybe average cost is 70c..... lolz....

And yes.... if u know who is Johor sultan.... hehe

If not because of shariah compliant issue, YTLP sure will already surpass RM 2.00 based on sbb last time momentum .....wb could trade 90 to RM 1.00 lor..........so not need to regret at all, it is part of investment risk, something beyond our control

Ya... my original cost was 1.00 in 3 years ago.... the average and follow it to 36c.... lolz....
of course I have no doubt with a company with 1b cash in hand and it is YTL somemore...
Other stocks I am not sure, YTL brands.... I can go all in.... lolz

Exactly, due to continuous support from share buyback, Hapseng can trade from 1.60 to almost double now at 3.00, the percentage gain is even higher for its wa. Therefore, YTLP and wb, which is still in process, could also repeat it path, is just a matter of time, if YTLP record improve earning + continuous sbb = share price will recover back to it glorious time 2 year again to above RM 2.40

Agreed, bluechip, especially bluechip warrant should trade at premium, instead of discount.....it is severely mismatch currently.....YTLP business is solid and cash generating, with all business focus on essential need...Power production, water, sewerage treatment,broadband etc....be in economy up or down, all these essential thing still needed, demand is 100% needed in today life

Risk vs. reward......Since free float have greatly reduce, any major selldown if unable to secure project 3B may pose opportunity for sbb to engulf remaining volume and hit maximum 10% for next cancellation. If able to secure 3B, then its bonus for YTLP as it improve earning visibility, but the contribution only start after 2018

Lets think if YTLP Secure project 3b - there will be big capex in next few year before it can reap profit...same like initial stage big capex to develop Yes broadband + 1BestariNet, 2 year ago, resulting cut quarterly dividend. Thus, if secure project 3B, will YTLP stop sbb, reserve cash for 3b capex..!!??

your thought/concern maybe correct. ytlp will need fund to build and setup if ytlp secure the project. if sbb no longer exist then it is a setback for ytlp's price to go up further.
during this time till 2018, profit may not seem any improvement just like now.
