last time if im not so greedy, actually i wanna sell at 0.8 1, but too greedy, after fall i only sell at 0.715, but then i buy back at 0.655, and sell all the way up till 0.705, then it drop back again.. and i buy back at 0.655, and today all clear out.. kikiki yumyum...

when ytlpowr buy wesses water, the pound to ringgit conversion is 6-7ringgit to 1 pound , but since uk start their qe, pound start to fall, so now the profit is lesser after conversion , seraya power is very hard to get extra profit since singapore power industries is very competitive, the malaysia 2 power plant going expired, yes4g still eating their own money, even with 1bestari.net project, yes4g is not going to be very profitable 1... yes4g is very expensive, no ppl will use it 1... then finally the 2megawatt plant, if ytlpowr get the project, it only will start contribute after 2018.

unless uncle yeoh want to privatize ytlp, if not, nobody will interested to buy ytlpower share 1, lapsap share, no dividend , apa pun tak ada, privatize also wont offer premium 1 la, uncle yeoh is famous for his stinginess.

so buy and hold of ytlpower is not going look pretty, got profit then must cabut... kikiki

Today market down, sentiment weak, but sbb perform well, brought back 75% of today total volume, one of the highest percentage buyback and manage to speed up treasury stock by 0.08% to current total 8.96%. It is estimate to exceed 9% and ultimately reach quota of 10% very soon. Should cancellation of treasury done ward and restart sbb back by another 10% based on reduce total volume, YTLP free float will further reduce, supply and demand, share price will gain even more support and uptrend likely resume.

Sbb strategy remain, buyback as much volume but at lowest possible cost, that why there is no support at the end of bidding time, as share price weakness offer better opportunity for sbb to continue accumulate more share at lower cost.

As mention earlier, YTLP largest scale of broadband coverage already complete in the end of last year, networking all 10,000 school nationwide under 1 BestariNet with contract worth 1.5bilion for 5year (RM 300m/yr), renewal for 5 + 5year totally 4.5bilion for 15year. As these project is private initiative plan, whereby, YTLP need to pour in huge capex to develop networking, and once ready, gov already will pay annual fees to YTLP. Therefore, for year 2014 onward, YTLP will start derive profit from these RM300m/yr which include service fees + maintenance + licensing + operation + supply etc to YTLP.

In short, if YTLP manage to secure project 3B, then its bonus to shareholder, but it also mean another round of huge capex in next few year, which may lead to termination of sbb. If unable to secure, YTLP likely will continue sbb once it cancel these batch of treasury stock and could expect start bearing fruit of its broadband division after more than 2 year loss, the culprit of its share slump since 2011.

The going expire current IPP in Sept next year will well offset by YTLP broadband division. These is base on latest Q1 result that show IPP contribute PBT 60m, but broadband incur loss -50m. It is expected by just breakeven its broadband division, it will neutralize the impact of IPP.

The actual contribution from 1BestariNet toward YTLP broadband division only can truly reflect its Q3 result. This is because these private initiative project: 1BestarNet have just completed in the end of last year, and it cost YTLP spent more than RM 2.5 billion in capex. Therefore, actual impact on 1BestariNet contrition may only can truly reflect in Q3 from 1 Jan-30 Mar, release in May.

As for now, YTLP almost derive all earning from oversea, (local business almost offset each other IPP profit 60m + broadband loss -50m), with major earning contribution from UK. water/sewerage form 55% PBT (profit margin 28%), while Singapore Power contribute 43% PBT (profit margin 5.6%).
