Ever since sc selldown in early Dec, both price (up)trend and transacted volume, parent vs son are quite different. Son consolidating with low volume while parent's uptrend, though abated, is still noticeable. Volume also ok.
Why is this so?

If you follow many of us since last year Sept (can check previous posting), you will notice, wb always laggard behind its mum since spet when ytlp start sbb, discount as much as 7sen. The discount gap only manage to close after YTLP successful breakthrough 1.90 in middle of last Nov and wb start upsurge ahead of its mum, momentum then pick up trade a widen premium to as high as 82sen even though mum still trade at 1.94 in the end of Nov. Therefore, it is no uncommon for wb to trade at discount, but if mum momentum surge into stronger and more convincing, i believe wb will catch up faster and once again trade at premium.

Once turnaround of Yes broadband become news, then these analyst will recognize the value of YTLP. These is because most of these analyst value YTLP based on sum of part, by taking account Yes broadband at cost, without attach any PE on it. In addition, in their sum of part analysis, they all exclude 1BestariNet which YTLP already spend more than RM 2b in capex to fully develop it until completion late last year. These 1Bestarinet asset will start contribute RM 300m/year for entire 15year contract from these year onwards

CIMB with its sum of parts analysis and pecking TP @RM2.55 mentioned nothing about ytlp's rosy future. Maybe the stock's columnists in NYSP or SCJP might do a better job. Remember a columnist in NYSP carried YTL Corp's stories in 3-4 parts in Oct'13?

Actually, it is NYSP or SCJP duties to highlight YTL and YTLP, as these are only few non-GLC bluechip under Chinese control.

it is sbb intention to keep buy more share but at possible lowest cost. If share price remain, or even lower, the next day sbb can continue buyback at such low price or bid bit higher to accumulate more as long as there is seller willing to sell.
