I have lost a lot in YTL Power today coz I bought 4 years ago at around RM 1.40 per share with great dividends around 4% to 8%. Then later price came down to nearly RM 1.00 and also the dividend came down.Its direction seems unclear today to me. From non reliable sources, I understand it is cash rich. Then why so much uncertaintees has occurred to YTL Power share and which caused the downturn to long term investors like me.What do i do? Any comments appreciated.A. David

bought some more today.... I expect the dividend will be 4-5 cents plus 1 share for every 50 shares.. this should translate to approximately 8-9 cents range..

YTLPOWER-C2 suspended (matured) & delist next week. My guess is no (Share Buy Back) SBB for these few days. Hopefully they continue to do SBB after that..

Maybe the Singapore segment will recover by stronger SGD and the full liberalization of the energy market in Singapore. Since 1/4/2018, resients in Jurong can freely choose their electricity retailers.

Opened market let those electric retailer like Seraya have the opportunity to enter the market once monopoly by SP group, NOT Seraya.

Hopefully the open electricity market will begin on 1/10/2018.

Hyflux asset is include power plant segment which cause negative in their overall income, and seems to be a burden. BUT, seawater desalination is profitable.

Seraya is in the progress of diversifying their business in Singapore, which include seawater desalination service too and oil tanks service.

她说，大马永续能源发展机构（SEDA）有责任巩固及加强现有的制度、监管和財务框架，以支持我国再生能源的发展。
