last time i checked, they can use up till 3 billions for sbb, 2 b from retained profit, 1 b from share premium, so yes, cash is no problem, but why they does not support the price? last week still buy in at 1.95 , now 1.88 , why not they eat it all up?

YTLP have RM 9.5 billion cash, most of its is non-recourse to the debt, or is free cash available to acquire assets or sbb. This is because although YTLP have RM 20 billion debt, but these debt is structure to meet repayment from its exiting concession business over concession period, and only small portio of its cash is used as security deposit to the debt

YTLP exclude in shariah-compliance list simply because of YTLP debt mainly borrow from conventional banking and is oversea banking instead of local islamic sukuk loan. This can't blame YTLP at all as its major concession business is at UK and Singpaore, whereby, YTLP opt to incur respective country debt where their business station to hedge against currency risk

i checked genting substantial shh list, epf is not one of them.
