not to mention it hover around 1.4-1.45 for almost 3 months+...this counter is not for short or mid term but very longggg term investment i think.

Investment in VS is considered very open & clear, as all information is already made available for investors' consideration.

As such, price already factored in, don't expect you know something that not many know.

The correlation between Dow and KLCI has not been strong in 2021. Even when the Dow is very bullish, the KLCI does not follow the trend.

Reiterate BUY, with higher TP of RM1.88 (from RM1.77) based on 20x PE, pegged to CY22 EPS.

We view that the higher premium is justifiable given the (i) healthy order outlook brought by the steady demand of consumer electronic products; and (ii) margin expansion from customer diversification efforts.

As the biggest EMS player in Malaysia with solid track record, we opine that VSI is prime beneficiary from the intensifying trade diversion catalyst.

Maintain BUY with higher RM2.00 TP. Post earnings adjustment and rolling forward our valuation base year to CY22 (from FY22), our TP for VSI is revised higher to RM2.00 based on a target PE of 20x.

With new customer wins and robust orders from existing customers, VSI’s earnings outlook for FY22-23 appears to be increasingly positive. The company also expects its existing production capacity to be fully filled up by 2021. In addition, we believe fears of a large order reduction from Customer X will continue to dissipate, as its contribution is gradually diluted by other key customers going forward. Hence, we maintain our BUY recommendation.

The global semiconductor industry posted August sales of US$47.2 billion, up 3.3% sequentially, according to Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA).

The August sales were 29.7% higher than the US$36.4 billion generated during the same period in 2020, SIA indicated.
