Supermx new plants will not only supply gloves to US but to Canada and Latin America like Mexico, Brazil, Columbia etc. Mexico is just Texas.neighbour. The per capita consumption of gloves will grow at 10 to 15 % per year. The current requirements for both Canada and US alone is 368 m x 200 or 73.6 billions per year .

i advise long term investor to stay away from TG until IDSS and RSS positions are reduced to 0.5%. Right now there is a repeated Trading pattern, Up in the morning and Down Afternoon( and the Volume is Not small ) This is A made in Heaven pattern for Retailers IDSS. I think Big Boys
RSS foresaw IDSS will help them to push price Lower. As you can see TG RSS position has not changed eventhough Super and Harta are declining daily

British researchers say they have found “no evidence” that the Omicron coronavirus variant is milder than Delta, casting doubt on the cautious optimism of some experts that the new strain may not be as virulent and not overwhelm healthcare systems.

The study by Imperial College London (ICL) on Friday – released just as British officials reported record COVID-19 cases for the third consecutive day, with a rise to 93,045 new infections – also found that the risk of reinfection with Omicron is more than five times higher than Delta.

Based on the "research" u posted, i found out they have a very very very small sample size..let me quote

"The study used the data from the U.K. Health Security Agency and the U.K.'s health service for all PCR-confirmed Covid cases in England between Nov. 29 and Dec. 11.

However, the data included ONLY 24 hospitalizations of patients suspected of having the omicron variant, with researchers saying "hospitalisation data remains very limited at this time." The study is YET to be peer-reviewed"


U can read the report from discovery health to get a better understanding of this variant. There is already summary:

Btw, there is anecdotal evidence that there is a lot of people recovered from omicron in JUST 3 days with minor symptoms. Much much better than delta variant

South Africa Hospitalization Rate Plunges in Omicron Wave

South Africa delivered some positive news on the omicron coronavirus variant on Friday, reporting a much lower rate of hospital admissions and signs that the wave of infections may be peaking.

Only 1.7% of identified Covid-19 cases were admitted to hospital in the second week of infections in the fourth wave, compared with 19% in the same week of the third delta-driven wave, South African Health Minister Joe Phaahla said at a press conference.

The Omicron coronavirus variant has been reported in 89 countries and the number of cases is doubling in 1.5 to three days in areas with community transmission, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said.

Omicron is spreading rapidly in countries with high levels of population immunity, but it is unclear if this is due to the virus’s ability to evade immunity, its inherent increased transmissibility or a combination of both, the WHO said in an update.
The WHO warned that with cases rising so rapidly, hospitals could be overwhelmed in some places.

“Hospitalisations in the UK and South Africa continue to rise, and given rapidly increasing case counts, it is possible that many healthcare systems may become quickly overwhelmed,” it said.
