KUALA LUMPUR: DSR Taiko Bhd memulakan penampilan sulung yang mantap di Pasaran LEAP Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd pagi ini, dibuka pada harga 92 sen sesaham, premium 62 sen atau lebih 200 peratus berbanding harga rujukannya sebanyak 30 sen.

Pada loceng pembukaan, syarikat itu yang berpengkhususan dalam spektrum penuh rantaian nilai perniagaan tani durian – menyaksikan kira-kira 130,000 sahamnya didagangkan.

Penyenaraian kumpulan itu adalah yang ke-18 di Bursa Malaysia dan yang keempat di Pasaran LEAP setakat ini.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Datuk Ng Lian Poh berkata kumpulan itu telah memperoleh hasil kasar sebanyak RM25.75 juta, menjadikan ia dana tertinggi yang diperoleh melalui penyenaraian LEAP setakat ini.

"Dana yang dikumpul kebanyakannya dimanfaatkan untuk pemerolehan bank tanah kebun durian di Bentong.

"Ini akan meningkatkan hasil durian kami yang membolehkan kumpulan itu menerokai pasaran luar negara, manakala penyenaraian pula akan memudahkan kami menceburi pasaran ekuiti untuk mengembangkan bank tanah kami," katanya.

Beliau seterusnya menjelaskan harga durian bercampur-campur dan berdasarkan lokasi, sambil menambah di Raub dan Bentong, Pahang, harga kebun bagi durian Musang King meningkat kepada RM55 sekilogram (kg) berbanding RM38 sekilogram tahun lalu.

"Terdapat beberapa faktor yang menyumbang kepada harga yang lebih tinggi seperti permintaan yang meningkat dan bekalan yang rendah serta cuaca yang tidak baik," katanya.

DSR Taiko memiliki 33 bidang tanah kebun durian di Raub dan Bentong, dengan agregat tanah seluas 40.08 hektar.

Melalui perkongsian usaha sama dengan Daily Fresh International, syarikat itu telah membangunkan dan mengkomersialkan pelbagai produk berasaskan durian hiliran.

Pada masa ini, produk syarikat itu dijual secara dalam talian dan juga boleh didapati di kedai fizikal seperti kedai-kedai utama D'Masking mereka yang terletak di Bentong dan kompleks beli-belah Lot 10 di Kuala Lumpur, serta Daily Fresh Kiosk terpilih di Malaysia.

Haiyoh tanam durian itu hobi. Mau makan durian FOC for lifetime. Beli durian saham different story. Duit pun ada kata tanam duit is low entry barrier siapa nak tanam pun boleh juga. Sooner or later pun oversupply juga. Tanam sikit sikit makan sendiri boleh lah. Mana lah tau 10 tahun later. Harga lelong juga MSK tu. Correct?

itu baru listing punya durian ctr baru 40 hectar. Itu siapa listed company pun mau tanam durian juga leh. few yrs back cakap mau tanam durian leh. Itu ctr ada related to Tan Sri Lim Kang Hoo leh. Ingat pun more than this newly listed durian ctr leh. Dunno Tan Sri Lim sudah tanam pokok durian ada buah already kah. Jangan Jangan still KI|V lagi lah. Correct?

Very big farm. Waiting for the outcome.
Quite similar to Msia climate, except frequent strong winds that can destroy flowering season

Now everyone also tanam durian leh. Everywhere pun can see lelong durian at cheaper price as durian is not a commodity have to consume fresh and not lasting. Many farmers pun jual lelong price to clear the stock as they dont have facilities to store it. Correct?

Hear Johor have a bumper harvest this season and pahang lesser supply leh. Johor many area pun become durian plantation and getting popular as their price is cheaper than pahang one. Nowadays ada MSK makan who care it is from Raub or not lah. Correct?
