In year 2003 Eden once submitted to Malaysian Govt for an undersea Cable Project to transfer electricity from Bakun Dam to Peninsular Malaysia. This proposal was not heard since.

Last Year YTL was denied a Power Plant Project which was later given to IMDB. But with huge debt of RM42 Billions IMDB aborted the deal.

It remain to be seen if Eden could revive the idea of Transmitting Electricity by Undersea Cable From Bakun's Hydro Power Plant again as an alternative.
